July - US Pilots Labor Discussion

No, you knew nothing of the sort. You had the numbers to subjugate the west and the misplaced loyalty to follow Bradford and remain the lowest paid pilots with the help of your so-called union.

So, what'd you really win?
Then why do you complain? Your whining is pathetic, your group couldn't get hired anywhere else and now your entitlement attatched to EAST assets is just as pathetic, SUCK IT UP!

Also clear, have you read the staffing section of the Nic award? You guys were carrying many more pilots per A/C on the narrow bodies than we were. I figured that if we were staffed like you guys on the 757, A320 and 737 we would have had 635 more pilots on our list.
Yet today the east has 3446 for 219 aircraft. 15.73 pilots per aircraft.
The west has 1628 for 120 aircraft. 13.56 pilots per aircraft.

The east has more pilots today then at the merger.
The west has less pilot today then at the merger.

Why is that? Who is benefiting from managements decision to shift flying to the cheaper pilot group?

The other thing about CFM...when they shut down, there is so much blade rattle it sounds like the thing is coming apart, what is with that, the engines we had on the 737-300 made some noise but nowhere near as much as the CFMs on the 320.
The CFM does not tear itself apart at certain speeds like the IAE.

I bet you are one of the wussies that voted for LOA93 so stop your whining, you voted for it LIVE WITH IT!!!!!.
Being called a wussy by a delusional dimwit, I think I'm going to cry.

If only I'd been brave like you we'd all still be making parity plus 1%.

I'm an A320 captain and I just did a quick check of my logbook for the year. Guess how many routes I have flown that were not originally flown by US Airways? Zero. How many west pilots, except the 757 guys, can say that?
I've flown (not all in the last year)

God....will you please stop like a whining little baby. You are pathetic. The way things are the way they are is because your little snap shot in meaningless. We parked a #### load of airplanes due to 911 and parked a bunch more just to get this merger done. But WE KNEW someday it would be over (the downsizing and getting more for less on the East). That day is here. We need to hire because we haven't hired any significant numbers for 20 years. If you don't remember anything remember this. It's not a new company us. You are owed nothing from us. You are down to one base and do 24% of our flying. Use your laser intellect and tell us how powerful you are. Management decides were flying goes. Pure and simple. USAPA has ZERO influence on where flying goes.........Oh lets see....do we add flights to Europe from PHL or PHX....please stop being an insufferable idiot about stealing jobs. YOUR CAREER EXPECTATION CHANGED ON THE DAY OF THE MERGER AS WELL. We are still under sep ops. I would love yto stay that was for a few more years just to illustrate how bad NIC screwed the pooch!!! Even if we do a deal with AMR we will have 300-400 upgrades before the dust settles ....you will have 50. But most of all

PLEASE STOP CRYING LIKE A LITTLE BABY OVER IT.

Dude, please do me a favor. When you rant try and stick to the facts instead of making stuff up.

First of all Parker did not say the west was doing 24% of your flying. He said that 24% of the west flying was traditionally east flying. He also said that 4% of the east flying was traditional west flying. A big difference from the west doing 24% of east flying. I don't have the block hours the east flies per month but do the math. The net is not that much. Plus you have to subtract the 1/3 of the 190 flying the west should be doing.

I hope you keep your statement in mind. usapa has no influence on where flying goes and it is management that decides where it goes. So if or when management decides to shift flying to the west don't complain.

Honest to God. Who hired you idiots like move2nowhere. Nicforlorn and clear strange? Was it the ASU brain trust that scraped the bottom of the heap ? Who did the hiring in the Franke years? 19 year old ASU labor bashers?
F-ing retard.

Only you would make fun of your own with your avatar.

Way to go moron.

Coming from the second lowest paid in the industry and the original scab outfit (Ansett) In the bar at CLT I over heard west boys saying they can't wait to get their hands on and AA 777, wow talk about entitlement!!!
STFU Courtney. You know better than to put that crap out. Do it again and you'll only get two pizza snacks instead of your usual three.

Wow! 5345 in the pluses!

Is that you MM bumping me up like that? We know that can't be westies and doing that so I have to give props to those easties that have figured it out.

Guess what boys, you're going to get your pay parity finally. But your also getting your Nic as well. This merger is going to happen a bit sooner than most think and we'll be making Delta contract in a few years.

And I'll be flying out of CLT in a couple of years as planned.

You are senior enough in your seat to avoid the crap trips I fly. I didn't say there that there are not east pilots flying what was former west routes, just that there are more west pilots flying what were former east routes than vice versa. I guess you missed where I also said that it didn't matter, or do you just have to answer anything that you might see as pro-east?

Is this a copy of an old post?

Did it take you all night to come up with that response? Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

I'm not sure where you got those numbers. I show 3394 east pilots and 1731 west pilots on the seniority lists on the USAPA website. Those show pilots that are out SIC,LOA, SPV etc. which I believe the east would have a much higher percentage. We do not have more line pilots than we did in 2005. Bid announcement 05-03 shows the bid positions for June 2005 at 2782. Bid announcement 12-04 shows 2709 positions for Sep 2012 growing to 2759 for Nov 2012 as we staff the 190 for the additional 5 we are getting back. Nov has 225 E190 lower paying positions that have replaced A/C from 2005.

I told you why we are carrying more people now per A/C. How many pilots would we have if we had not lost more A/C than the west?

I know you and some west guys love living in victim mode. You are less victims than those that just didn't get to use the Nicolau award as an even softer landing for the current airline environment.

I think they are ramping up the hiring for retirements and the new flight time duty time regs.

Yep. Chief pilot told me that they don't have a clear vision of the staffing. Look at the seniority list and the sick bank balances of the senior pilots. Will they retire with it and ten cents on the dollar or effectively take early retirement? They don't know. My voicemail my first POTA in a while the other day. PHL and DCA were out of reserves and CLT had no one legal to fly an all-nighter.
