June - US Pilots Labor Discussion

You east guys are being played by both Parker and Kirby. They're throwing out this three way list crap and you're buying it hook, line, and sinker. They want to keep you guys in line long enough for this merger to go through.

Silver is going to come back with an answer that does not obsolve the company from liability should they stray from the Nic. With that, you'll see third Nic passed across the table because MB allows Doug a say as to what list is used.

So use opinions out of context and try to find your little technicalities if that makes you happy, but fact is the Nic is going to be used.

Looking at the Delta rates, we all need to be mindful that we need to get something much better than the first offer in the LCC pursuit of AA. 171 or so an hr is just not nearly enough.

Let see

124 was just fine as long as it meant no NIC but 171 is not nearly enough?

A bankrupt company can pay the same as a healthy one?

I'm sure the creditors will be trembling in fear from our resolve, unity, and leverage.

I think if a DOH list, or any list that in NOT the Nic, is used for SLI with American, and the new CBA gives the West pilots huge raises and some QOL improvements as well as fencing in PHX so all PHX attrition is captured by West pilots... How will they say they were harmed??
Furloughs. Guess what the USCABA method is

Ok, two points of order then...

First, as you say, the company keeps the OFFICIAL seniority list. I agree. Is the Nic the OFFICIAL list on the property right now? That's a yes or no question...

And second, ALPA bylaws clearly state that a furloughed pilot CANNOT hold office within the union. There was a pilot on the PHL LEC that was flying the 170's for US Air. How could he hold an official office within ALPA if he was furloughed?? That is expressly forbidden... Yet he was shown as furloughed on the list used for the SLI...
Yes. According to the company and what they have said in court. The Nicolau has been accepted.

As far as what the east ALPA did. We all know very well how the east has trouble following rules. IF you guys want to violate the ALPA rules but no one called you on it so be it. If your pool of talent is so thin that the only person to step up or could do the job was furloughed that is your problem. It is not really ALPA nationals job to make sure you follow all of the rules. They assume there are responsible people running the show. Also if no one called the violation or made a big deal out of nothing was going t happen.

Just like with Addington. If the west had not gone to court to protect our right even though usapa was violating them no one was going to step in and stop it.

The PHL election are done and once again usapa shows it incompetence for doing anything. This time the excuse is computer glitch.

So what is it boys? Did the Cleary camp continue to run the union into the groud or have the PHL guys seen the light and decided that train running toward the cliff need to be slowed down?

Is it Music or the other guy? Any word yet?

"They assume..."/etc. Ah!...You now speak for alpa national and do their thinking for them....as well as "the rest of the world" naturally, as previously noted in postings...how very amusing indeed 😉

Just a gentle suggestion: You would do well by eschewing such grandiose (and utterly ridiculous) assumptions of universal agreement with your own notions.

PS: I'm curious here. Exactly what is/was "ALPA nationals job"? 😉 By your own notions...said "job" didn't even involve ensuring that their own "rules" were followed.....and zero responsibility should attend to them for that....?

Or read the multiple instances where the 9th told USAPA that it had to represent both sides fairly - when is USAPA going to start doing that?

Right after they illegally rerun the appeals board election so they can replace the the West guys with scabs.

It was the other guy... Music lost by 40 votes

"the the"? Excessive poisons in one's system can produce stuttering as one of many symptoms. Perhaps some change in diet would prove beneficial.

After the Nicolau award came out if you east guys had not gone crying to mommy and whined how unfair life was do you think Prater or ALPA would have just stepped in without being asked? That they would have trying to "fix" a problem that did not exist?

If no one complained about a furloughed guy being S/T ALPA national probably did not even know about it. After all the local are suppose to run their own show and follow the rules. ALPA national is there to make sure they are enforced. Just like the cops if no one reports the crime they don't know about it and don't do anything about it.

But this is all moot. The MDA guys were furloughed it has been proven. You east guys have trouble following the rules. There is nothing more to discuss.

ALPA national is there to make sure they are enforced.

Which they didn't do, it seems. "ALPA national probably did not even know about it." Umm..."probably"...I see. Sigh!....it's apparent you'll continue to do "the rest of the world's" thinking for them, in lieu of employing even the slightest logical process.....oh well...
