I hope you drive a city bus u moron, you absolutelly have no clue about managing a cockpit.

Golly....I do so love pushing the buttons on all you morons.

And it's so easy.

Watched the PHX Crew News for May. What a hoot! Parker showed ultimate restraint while listening you west jerks just whine and whine about everything. The east has you so twisted up in knots you couldn't chew your way out. But you show everybody how you certainly do try.

That's because you didn't experience the awa training department. The west checklist doubled in size when the east took over training.

The East checklist was reduced to a fraction of it's former self and these HUGE memory items AWA called FLOWS were added. Who ever heard of "Flaps 3, Landing Checklist??? Nobody in the industry but AWA.

...and these HUGE memory items AWA called FLOWS were added.

Indeed..."The Great Leap Backwards" towards airline methodologies of many decades past. AWA, by no means, initiated flows as a concept. There's good reasons for them being called CHECK-lists....If one wishes to establish "muscle memory" protocols for cockpit set up during given conditions..well..fine, but...only complete fools would see any perceived "benefit" in not providing comprehensive check lists to back up actions. Seriously; how long does it take to "read something" so short in any case?

Countless studies have demonstrated that humans aren't too terribly talented at consistently "remembering"/taking actions on/etc, any long laundry lists of disconnected details.

Hmmm because that was the best way you idiot. Did you forget the west system was designed to stop mistakes? When flaps full were the norm, lots of guys when doing flaps 3 would never get to checklist. Make sense?

Your sheer ignorance and stupidity shine thru brightly today. Listen idiot, the west had the backing of both nasa and faa as the system that was proven most effective at trapping mistakes. We had to go back to longer checklists because the east management felt the east pilot's could not handle such a big departure from their procedures. Of course that is not surprising considering that the scabs couldn't even change a call sign safelly. Skinner personaaly told me that eventually we would go back to the awa as it has been proven safer.

Your sheer ignorance and stupidity shine thru brightly today.

I had no intentions of starting up any "west-east" crap. You can't seem to avoid it at any time though...even with unrelated issues.

Said "ignorance and stupidity" comes from more years aloft than you may yet ever see. I'll take my chances with such "ignorance and stupidity" well before I'll likely become much impressed with your awesome "knowledge". Training departments have their occasional changes in "fashion" as do all human institutions. The basics remain unchanged as to how people function.

It should be gently noted that any huge serving of personal "attitude" generally fails to serve anyone well aloft.

If the best "knowledgeable gems" you can forward amount to: "Hmmm because that was the best way you idiot." and "Your sheer ignorance and stupidity shine thru brightly today."....well...consider yourself properly dismissed as being no one I want around in any operational enviornment. Adolescent temper tantrums in the sky wouldn't be productive.

LMAO!!!

Whatever gets you through the day.

Looks like the old easties are at it already with the AA pilots.

From the APA board:

I road home on Usair to CLT, and a CO-Pilot had something he could not wait to show me. Evidently a pilot at Usair has gotten ahold of our seniority list, and has created a combined Usair/AA list that shows them where the will fall with strait date of Hire. This is the second trip in a row to clt on Usair where the co-pilots are obnoxious about date of hire. They are also up set that APA accepted pref bidding, and want there current system to remain. On both trips home the Co-pilots were upper 50's maybe even 60. I don"t really no the details of what we are doing about this subject, but their tone is a little nasty/demanding. They are deathly afriad we a going to take over, and they will be marginalized(YEPH). I can only hope the Fence is sufficently high to keep us from being over run by this Geriatric mob!!

He has nothing to worry about. I've had numerous conversations with an ORD based AA captain I have known since he was hired in the mid 80's. He spoke with Bates about the possibility of DOH a list being slipped across the desk.

It will get the same consideration team Tempe gave a similar list a few years ago.

Who could it be?

breeze? claxon? Anyone going to fuss up?

How long before one of them asks where he can get a 777 manual?

And we did not have to repeat the meaningless word VERIFY (it's either checked or set) and have TRIGGERS as crutches. Nor did we have endless briefs about arbitrary taxi routes have yet to be issued by controllers. <_<

Most likely your traitor friend Iadair. Who else could spell so miserably. Your LCC co workers say you wear a dress you are so weak. true? Fuss up?
