Resorting to those "cute" little smileys I see....

Jim
Aw, c'mon Jim, poor LeastUS has worn out three sets of Quote keys (of course the "quotes" are never quotes, they are words he put in other's mouths, while he keeps his foot firmly planted in his own). He ought to be able to let the smileys pick up where his imagination and vocabulary leave off.

Let Capt. Walter Mitty ( I'm sorry, 1st Lt.) [callsign Windbag] enjoy his mirage of glory days that never were, chasing a career that never will be.

He thrives off the only attention he gets - which is here.

I see I was wrong - it is too complex of an issue for you to understand...

Can I take it that you consider flaps to be optional?

Enlighten us, oh mighty Sky God, what else do you consider optional???

Jim

Well...you made it through a commercial career...so character and honesty must be optional qualities...depending i suppose on how much luck one has. Nice try on the righteous filibuster distraction attempt, btw.

Let's look at AWA's practices and compare them to US Air as to their respective safety records.

Yep, looks like AWA gets the win their.

Oh, and we never transferred controls under 200' like your boys in TPA did.
Ah....to be young again...

And I thought it was taking swipes at those he considers mere peons that made his day...

Jim

"Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the hottest stick of 1974?"

"Why thee, of course, EastUS."

"Then why won't anyone dogfight me?"

"<sniff> Did thou crapest thy raiment again? Wearest thou thy "G-suit"?

Along for the ride easties. Just along for the ride.

Went to the APA Family Awareness meeting last week. They said they gave up a pay bump for the 321 to negotiate gains in other areas of the contract. They did address the issue that the 321 is nearly the same size as the 757, but the pay bump needed to be spent somewhere else.

Also, for what its worth, APA says US Airways has 500 retirements a year starting in 2 years, plus AMR has an additional 500 retirements/year starting in 2017. This means massive movement in seniority for everyone under the age of 60. Traditionally, APA says the level of disability leaves is a large number of the active flying list vacancies in addition to Age 65 retirements.

I wonder where they got the over blown number of 500 per year? These APA guys need to learn never believe an eastie.

The highest number COMBINED is 2021 with 316. East only retirements.

2013 150
2014 214
2015 184
2016 230

I will reply to your drive by....even if you are not here to answere..

Completely opposite talk from Parker in the PHX crew news, and it would make no sense to do the SLI first...but if usapa rumor control says so...well then, it is almost as sure a thing as the LOA93 grievence, Addington, MDA, RICO, Status Quo lawsuit, and on and on and on....

What they meant to say was there would be 500 LCC combined retirements in the 2 years 2013 & 2014. The real number is something like 450 but what is 50 numbers amongst usapa's friends at the APA that are going to give DOH and fences, and work out that whole "unquestionably ripe DFR" thingy and the SLI , even before worrying about the small stuff like a big raise.

Ya know the other possibility...usapa could have given the APA false numbers, there were false seniority list programs floating around during the LCC seniority integration that had completely false info in them... just saying I would not put it past usapians to try to lie, cheat and steal seniority in another prospective merger.
