I suppose the only thing Odell earned when he was hired at AWA was.....

I'd ask you to examine that thought in more detail. You would place people with over a decade and a half of years worked as "junior" to him would you not? Precisely what does/CAN anyone actually "earn", simply by virtue of their just being hired and showing up for indoc/initial?

On another note: Whew! The most recently added, soap opera level hystrionics have leapt light years past laughable, and arced off into the "Ya' just gotta' be kiddin' me!" dimension.

"No, there definitely are some very bad people on the east side....."

"When the thief breaks into your house is the home owner to blame?
Do you blame the rape victim for being in the wrong place?
The driver that gets killed by the drunk that crosses the line."

I mean...come on people..."Do you blame the rape victim for being in the wrong place?" Grow up already, if that's even at all possible.

Oh well....A lovely day thus far...no point in spoiling it....I think it best I just stick with that. Have a good one all.

According to you, everything if it happens to be an eastie but nothing if it happens to be a westie...

How's that list coming along? Ready to admit that I was right and that you have no idea what planes I've "strappen into"?

Jim

YHGTBSM.

Please name ONE other offer your soon to be liquidated airline was looking at.

Just one.

I am just going by what the money connections said. We were told there were two possible avenues...AWA and I have NO idea what the other was the CEO was referring to.

How should I know? I am just repeating what the CEO said.

Driver...

HP didnt buy US, how many times do we have to correct you?

US proposed the merger and raised the funding, will you ever learn that fact?
What group of investors had the most shares of LCC stock on 9/27/2005?

What did the Company's filing to the SEC say about which former company was the acquiring carrier?

You, yourself established the contextual reference to be military aviation during the Viet Nam war. When challenged on that,

Don't let the fact that your juvenile baiting isn't getting any traction. Regardless of how many words you use, no one listens to you.

All this b!chlng about who bought who, and who agreed to what, etc., etc, is nothing more than.. wait for it.. empirical evidence that there is an internal dispute that folks are still arguing about. People are still striving to get agreement, and at the same time saying the agreements are over.

Scream louder. Jet noise has its toll over the years, as you might find out some day.

You can't deny HP was a power house with unrivaled momentum and unbounded employee pride... enough to save USAIr, and is now preparing its own praises to commend their own strength and generosity to the many employees and communities throughout the AA system that would have disappeared if it weren't for them.

Republic and Air Wisconsin both offered exit financing in February, 2005. By then, unfortunately, Lakefield and Parker were already in talks, so those two companies were put off.
Whaaaaaat??? A regional airline was going to save your powerhouse major legacy wide body senior international airline? How could that be?????? Did those airlines have the billions or the credit rating to get that kind of money? did they have the management talent to pull off that kind of deal?

Neither of those airlines had the money for DIP financing. Republic lent you $100 million tying to a service contract.

Next time you see Parker ask him what plan B for US Airways was if not for the AWA merger.

Any of you east guy read the pension committee update? What kind of BS are they trying to sell? The committee has a report that they have had for a while. Sometime before May 1. But now 3 weeks later they figure out that it contains some super-secret information that you low life line pilots can’t handle. How can you have a report and suddenly find out that it was not previously known?

Are you guy OK with the fact that your transparent union is withholding information? Could it be that what they have says that you are not going to get any money and no one is going to jail and you have all wasted $3.5 million dollars chasing a ghost?

May 25, 2012

Dear Pilots of the Former East DB Pension Plan:

Referencing our update of May 1, 2012, we mentioned a report that would be released to you shortly. Our ongoing investigation, including “the promised report,” now contains additional sensitive information not previously known. The sensitivity of our recent discoveries has been reviewed by USAPA’s attorneys, and deemed not prudent to be released to the pilot body at this time.

This does not bode well for the committee and their reputation. Promises made and promises broken. You guys ready for another assessment to keep the fantasy going?

What good is an agreement if you can't honor it?
They sacrificed their honor long ago to the gods of bankruptcy concession. When your honor's gone all you got left is wounded pride and heaps of denial. And a mountain of cash wasted on years of legal fees to boot, apparently.

One does not need to sacrifice his honor in the face of adversity. It is under adversity that one's true character will be revealed, whether strong and honorable or weak and detestable.
