June - US Pilots Labor Discussion

One does not need to sacrifice his honor in the face of adversity. It is under adversity that one's true character will be revealed, whether strong and honorable or weak and detestable.
You're right, they didn't have to but they did; put it all on red and spun the wheel for DOH. Vanity my friend, all is vanity.

You can't deny HP was a power house with unrivaled momentum and unbounded employee pride... enough to save USAIr, and is now preparing its own praises to commend their own strength and generosity to the many employees and communities throughout the AA system that would have disappeared if it weren't for them.
Translation: "I didn't cling to that lousy old life preserver! Heck, that thing probably made me sink even faster, HA HA! I'm a great swimmer! Maybe not with this life preserver around my neck, but you should see me with it off! Stupid old life preserver!

Well then we both agree with the "Preacher" that all is vanity, except for the final conclusion of the matter which is not vanity:

"Let us hear the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man's all.
For God will bring every work into judgement,
Including every secret thing, whether good or evil."
(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

I'll bet those AA pilots are locking up their triple 7 manuals. Word gets around about the time the powerhouse, Us Air was going to take over United and Easties would be really big airplanes like the B-747 because they were entitled.

United pilots were impressed.

Our West boys deserve those 777 seats. After all, they are saving AA!

Nope, just trying to recover from the previous "merger" to see our furloughed pilots get their jobs back after Parker saved your airline. You can tug on AA's coat tails for the 777. I'm still waiting on that winning lottery ticket promised to me by Kirby.

I am just going by what the money connections said. We were told there were two possible avenues...AWA and I have NO idea what the other was the CEO was referring to.

How should I know? I am just repeating what the CEO said.

Driver...

Driver.

There were NO other buyers. It was AWA or liquidation.

Just because you all use words like Eastholes, Clowns, USCABA, thief's, scabs, etc., etc., you should not feel that it reveals any true character in the face of adversity. Funny thing is that real USAir pilots had a lot more displeasure with ALPA than you ever had with us, and we never resorted to such rabid hyperbole as "scabs". Oh, don't forget to tell us to stand afar off from you because you are holier.

Don't let the fact that your juvenile baiting isn't getting any traction. Regardless of how many words you use, no one listens to you.

"... juvenile baiting..."? Would this qualify? BoeingBoy, on 31 May 2012 - 11:16 AM, said:
How's that list coming along? Ready to admit that I was right and that you have no idea what planes I've "strappen into"?

"...your juvenile baiting isn't getting any traction." Excellent news. I can now leave any and all juvenile baiting to those far more competent....yourself for example.

Indeed. "Integrity Matters" 😉

All this b!chlng about who bought who, and who agreed to what, etc., etc, is nothing more than.. wait for it.. empirical evidence that there is an internal dispute that folks are still arguing about.

Yep 😉

No liquidation took place. How's the view up there from Dumbo in Fantasyland these days? Nevermind....we all know that, ahem.."We saved you!" is an essential part of any fantasies involving the "justification" for nic......I've always wondered what people constituted the "We" part though....? In any case: How well is that "logic" working with the APA these days?

Any of you east guy read the pension committee update? What kind of BS are they trying to sell? The committee has a report that they have had for a while. Sometime before May 1. But now 3 weeks later they figure out that it contains some super-secret information that you low life line pilots can’t handle. How can you have a report and suddenly find out that it was not previously known?

Are you guy OK with the fact that your transparent union is withholding information? Could it be that what they have says that you are not going to get any money and no one is going to jail and you have all wasted $3.5 million dollars chasing a ghost?

This does not bode well for the committee and their reputation. Promises made and promises broken. You guys ready for another assessment to keep the fantasy going?

Clear,

Ya know, I have tried to respect your opinion over the last year, you make some good points, off and on.

However, you just can't seem to cover up your bitterness, and it is way too extreme. Maybe you were an abused step-child, but most of your posts are over the line. This justice doesn't even affect you, but you have to be an azzhole about it. You claim to have a line on the legal aspects of things, but this is nothing you have a clue about.

Your fellow pilots in this industry have an opportunity to regain some of what was bascially stolen from them in order to finance the purchase of regional jets (Mid Atlantic). Of course you weren't there, so you don't have a freakin clue as to what transpired. But, of course, you are gonna get in your cheap shot while you can. DH! Over the years, as you mature, you will learn that anything that benefits a pilot in this industry is a victory.....until then, you are just a pawn.

You must be very junior in this industry and have no idea as to the magnatude of the ups and downs in trying to ride out a career.

I think you know what I mean as far as losing respect for you at this point. You don't have a clue here and are out of line.
