I swear you could leave the board for a whole week and the SAME five or six LCC haters would still be hammering away. It amazes me when you read the posts the next day and see the wee hour in the morning AM times these people posted and I know some of them are East coast time. Go to bed people and get a life...if this is all you have in your life is hammering your hatred toward LCC, I feel sorry for you. The non aviators on here have to be laughing at the LCC board, not to mention the avaitors from other airlines reading the things that are posted. We worry about powdered creamers, the website, the AB320 overhead, the closet. The things we make a big deal out of. Powdered creamers, US1...I'll give you some Moo-Moo's next time,will that make you happy? The website...must work, last week they sold almost $9 million dollars in one day...working for somebody. The overhead, last time I looked a briefcase doesn't take that much room, put it under your seat. Same people bashing and bashing...their credibility gets old. I wish they would go fly another carrier since they are so unhappy with LCC...that wouldn't be any fun. Couldn't bi**h then. Wal-mart doesn't make everyone happy but as long as they make the majority of the customers happy they will make money. Move on people, TwiceBaked & allegheny36...right on!!

It is a judgment thing.

Parker makes enough money that he should know enough to call a cab or hire a car service if he so much as even thinks he might be intoxicated. Further, with a history of such things, you would think such a tactic would be old hat for him at this point.

This is the same type of judgment required of his pilots on a daily basis.

Next time you get into ANY type of trouble whether it be criminal or even at home with the wife/husband let's slam you for what you did wrong...OK?

Defamation of Character requires several qualifications to be fulfilled, one of which is that the accusation against the individual being defamed is untrue, which is not the case with Parker's DUI. So, I have not defamed DoUgIe, and as long as I don't make a false statement about him and I continue to indicate my statements are either provable or opinion, then I should be quite safe from lawsuit or sanction.

If it was me, I wouldn't drink and drive in the first place.

I don't throw stones in my glass house. I make it a point to use a glass cleaner and make sure that whatever I do, good or bad, is transparent. And I do make amends for the mistakes I make, so any discomfort I feel is temporary, well-deserved and eventually resolved. If you find out I'm up to something I shouldn't be, then by all means feel free to broadcast it.

My skeletons are cleaned out of the closet and buried. Hopefully Parker (and everyone else) cleans theirs out, too.

Yes and how about you be the one to tell that child or parents loved ones that have been killed by your friend (the drunk driver)that you are sorry but your friend just wasn't lucky enough this time to get home without killing your loved ones. Yes try to explain to them how you and your friend got away with it so long and it was a freak accident. Yes even tell them how you and your friend shouldn't be punished just because of your drinking and getting behind the wheel and killing someone. Yes tell them that the odds are just against it happening again. I am sure you made them feel better. Good for you.

Everybody screws up. It's called life.

Willingly and intentionally getting behind the wheel of a car drunk with the potential to take someones life is more then a simple screw up and and not only that it is against the law. Killing someone is called "taking" a life. In a mild sense you could call it manslaughter or in inextenuating circumstances make a case for murder.

Hypotetically of course.. if you had a wife and children would you still be so quick to condone a drunk drivers screwup if it was YOUR wife and/or children that were put in the MORGUE or how about if it was YOUR drunk wife that got behind the wheel and put YOUR children in the MORGUE?

So in answer to your question.. I would not only be quick I would be the first in line. But it would never happen, My spouse screws up but would never screw up by getting behind the wheel drunk and intentionally putting innocent peoples lifes in danger.
