PSA started Aeromotive long before the 146. A subsidiary of PSGroup, as was PSA, it enabled PSGroup to charge 4 times the going rate for engine work, basically keeping PSA in the red and directing cash to the group. Great scam until they got caught up in the dollar/yen inversion. The problem with the 146s is the engines did not last and have a very short life and had to be overhauled, why do you think PSA started Aeromotive to overhaul their own engines.
