All the talk of these new routes have gone flat, probably just another rumour!!!.. Would have liked to go to Sweden B)

Looking at the aircraft and paperwork demanding time. Still hearing a late May early June planned start.

Getting everything in order is one thing but don't they need to announce the destinations and services to allow advance bookings w/out flooding the market with low yield flts?

Unless there is something that might prevent the startup as planned. It would be better to not announce it until they are positive its going to be a go, otherwise it would be another Tempe Fup in some peoples minds. Why did they go and announce service that they knew they couldnt start..blah, blah, blah..... better to be safe than sorry IMO and they still have time to sell flights for most of the summer season. Let the other guys sell out their cheap seats so when we announce the service we can start in at the mid level pricing market?

Those of us who know what we know have posted what we can already here. No new developments, so no need to keep bringing it up again, and again, and again. You'll see some new routes soon. Whether or not it will be these posted here, you'll just have to wait and see. This poster will not reveal any more than has already been said.

Yes just wait and see... Will be announced sometime soon.. hang in there

If Usairways wanted to do something bold & innovative they would serve smaller European Cities from PHL & CLT with A319, the same type used by Air France for its Dedicate service to the Middle East and Africa. Why use 20 year old 757's, lets use smaller new aircraft.

A service like this by a US airline at a time like this when the perception is USA airlines are all dull, boring and uncompetitive would be BOLD. WHY not serve more of Europe nonstop from our main hubs with luxurious aircraft with say 20 Business Class seats and 40 or so coach seats. Lufthansa has had a good experience flying A319 on selected routes accross the Atlantic, why not a USA airline? If Richard Branson hadn't been bold, remember the state of British aviation, terrilbe.

The Privatair A319s only work on routes with really, really heavy full-fare business-class traffic, to overcome the costs of flying a jet with 40 seats across an ocean. It's a very limited niche service.

And we know that US is not looking for those full fare pax. You are better off filling up the planes wtih $98 seats.

Another thing. Why does the USAirways magazine now refer to Envoy Class as Business Class in the entertainment section? Geez, these people don't have a clue about being consistent.

The name was officially changed. Envoy Class no longer exists, replaced by Business Class.

Well someplace on one of the sites it said that Envoy was going to remain. So I guess when they figure out which name they want to use the customers will be the last to know.

Anytime you want to start running a customer oriented business let us know.

If they are going to change the name, they might want to start by doing it at their own website (usairways.com) so it doesn't say Envoy anymore.

Why would you do that? There are still references to Envoy in the USAirways magazine also. Tempe thinks things halfway through. They are probably still debating what to do and thought they would just confuse people by referring to it both ways.
