The trouble is - you just know how to scream "global warming is a hoax" and have not formed an opinion of your own.
My theory/OPINION is the left is trying to transition Americans from a globally traded commodity (fossil fuels) to a government regulated utility (electricity).

The left is attempting through compliance cost, taxation, and fees to eliminate choice.

This is not about the environment, it is about the left co opting American energy use, just as they have done to education (thanks in no small part to the Teachers UNIONs) and media (left leaning MSM and television shows/ movies pushing leftist agendas), and are attempting to do to healthcare (the socialist wedge that is Obamacare).

It's about control.

How's that for forming an opinion?

You disappoint me KCFlyer. Talk about a lack of imagination and critical thinking. Instead you just doubled down and went on the attack. Typical leftist.

Maybe next time.

KCFlyer does that fact you could not even come up with one hypothetical theory make you feel stupid?

Because it should.

Have a nice day dummy.

I said continue and strengthen our clean air laws. I also said that only an ass could argue against clean air. You and Tony just prove me right.

KC is fixated on "which companies have moved manufacturing from China to the US"

How about FoxConn? You know, the guys who make iPhones?

The bigger impact will be seen with supply chain as opposed to actual manufacturers. Most manufactured goods are piles of parts from dozens of individual suppliers.

Instead of sourcing Chinese components, you're seeing a shift where companies may find it cheaper to source them from a US supplier.

Isn't Foxconn the one that got $4 billion in incentives and promised 13,000 jobs? Or is the the FoxConn who got $4 billion in incentives and has reduced the number of promised jobs to 1500? And come to think of it....why did they need $4 billion in incentives in the first place? They may well end up making Solyndra look like a great deal.

Your answers had NOTHING to do with what I asked.

What I asked is the following:
KCFlyer this is a bit off topic but I would like to challenge you to a game.

I want to see what your answer is (or if you are even capable of providing one).

Hypothetical.

Climate change.

Let's assume the left has an ulterior motive motive regarding climate change. What do you think that motive could possibly be?

Let's see if you can play "devils advocate" and look beyond leftist talking points and come up with a logical motive.
Again, your answer had NOTHING to do with what I asked.

Just admit it.... you failed. Then when I called you out for having nothing you doubled down.

(or if you are even capable of providing one)

Did I call that or what?

What the hell did ANY of what I said have to do with arguing against clean air?

You really do have tunnel vision.

I"m not sure why the government just wouldn't turn the fossil fuel industry into a utility and regulate it that way. FWIW - most power plants create their electricity using.....drum roll please....fossil fuels.

You're "not sure"? Even asking that question tells where your head is at.

You and Maxine make a great pair.
