No big uniform changes for FA's are on the way yet. LCC is all about cost so they are going to make minor changes to existing uniform, but no changeover date yet determined. It seems that US Airways current crew are ready to a newer look, but dont' cross your fingers, nothing too ground breaking will happen, maybe some change in epaulettes, neckwear, buttons, but materials and styles probably wont' change much soon.

It would be one thing if people wore what they currently have appropriately. Considering the age group of the F/As, it's apppalling how immature some if them can be about the uniform.
I just imagine some of those guys given permission to not wear a tie, and next thing you know they are pulling thier bag through the 'burgh with thier shirt untucked and completely unbuttoned, thier mullet blowing in the wind while they scratch thier ass.

Lets get past this DOH crap first. Then and only then should we be concerned with what we'll wear. We can't even agree on how to merge the seniority list let alone merge into one uniform. LOL.... My belief though... if you want to wear a tie you may. I don't feel that alot of f/a's are immature about how they wear their uniform. They may not feel the uniform looks as good as some other carriers regardless of how well you wear it. I honestly think "ONE" button on the female aviatior shirt is fine and looks a little well, feminine. The tie off and one button open on the male aviatior hardly looks like a night out of Saturday Night Fever. I agree though that many can get carried away. If we went to short you know we would have someone out on the like with them hemmed up like Daisy Dukes.

There are some girls out there with that coat dress so hemmed that when they reach into an overhead, 200 people become thier gyno.
