Really? I'm management and I support the OWS protest.
Just curious, do you also support the movement for less government, reduction of the national debt and government spending, and adherence to the Constitution of the United States?

Since you are management, therefore no dues payment, why do you support the OWS?

LOL, because I'm a little left of Dennis Kusinich and think it is about time the middle class rises up.

ps...I paid union dues for 35 years. I'd rather see the dues go for this than into the "Grand Poopa's" pocket.

Now I am making a formal request for the use of my dues. Could the union either take dues money or the union manpower and clean up the protest sites? The park from OWS in New York, Zicotti (sp), is a private park.

I understand that the president is going to start a new bus tour today. I wonder how many OWS camps he will visit?
collectives [sic]

This is starting to look like something else that happened in the not-so-distant past.

The part that troubles me is I can't figure out if 'teh won' is the next Hitler or the Antichrist.

I applaude you for getting involved. Yes it is time for labor to step and twist corporate America's ears, however I do not understand your statement that the media is controlled by corporate america.

Some of the demands associated with OWS are so far out there that they could only bring a new revolution or civial war.....
What part of the fact that nearly all of our media is owned and controlled by big corporations don't you understand? This is nothing new, Quill cited it back in 1961 during the Quill Haley debate ( on YouTube, great debate).

That whole initiative is ridiculous from the very start. But as always, bankers are the scapegoat for all the problems we're having. Rather than address the real issues and lack of leadership (across both parties-including Obama) they're trying to turn this into "class warfare" under what appears to be a carefully orchestrated plan to distract people from more pressing issues.

Mayor Bloomberg said it best:

“The protesters are protesting against people who make $40 or $50,000 a year and are struggling to make ends meet. That’s the bottom line. Those are the people that work on Wall Street and in the finance sector.”

Just remember that Wall Street-Citigroup, GE Capital, JP Morgan, et al provide AA liquidity and played an instrumental role in your carrier's restructuring in 2003. If it wasn't for their help you likely would have given deeper concessions and more involuntary layoffs.

Josh

Bloombberg is full of shite! 40 to 50 K ? Maybe the ground keepers at the country club these bankers frequent or the janitor at JP Morgan make that amount. Bankers are the main problem, however the real problem is not at Wall Street (which is a legalized numbers racket) but two blocks north at 33 Liberty Street. 33 Liberty Street is where the private bank known as the Federal Reserve is located; the Occopy Wall Street crowd need to move there! The Federal Reserve is as "Federal" as Federal Express. In order for the the U.S. government to feed its insatiable appetite for money (in order to support the military industrial complex and all the corporate welfare) it borrows money from the Fed through the issuance of interest bearing bonds. Its a pretty lucrative con game. The Fed creates "money" out of thin air, backed by nothing, lends it to the U.S. treasury and the interest is paid by the U.S. tax payer in the form of the income tax. It is no coincidence that the Fed and the income tax were established in the same year, 1913. OCCUPY THE FED!

I understand that the rich control most of everything. That also includes rich Democrats as well as Republicans. This is nothing new. Do you not believe that George Soros has a political hand in the pot? Quill: Who is the Quill of today? Labor does not have a labor leader anymore. The unions are more interested in attending OWS than getting a contract for it's members.

Why do the unions consistantly look to the Democratic Party as the solution to everything, including the use of mandated dues for politics, without the consent of the member?

OWS' message has been misinterpreted by every media outlet there is. If they have a message about federal reserve corruption, lack of congressional oversight, and theft of the American treasure - the fruits of our labor - through taxation backed by badges and guns.... the message has been lost in political theater.

TWU and the AMR Board of Directors, and the upper management are in collusion. Replace them all!

I voted NO on this one.
