Yes, there is some "perception" here of good times. I remember in my AF POW training back the mid-seventies, they took us into a mock POW camp after a week foraging in the woods, and had us cook up a big pot of vegetable and fish stew. Right as we went to fill up our bowls, they dumped it on the ground. We all still ate "fish stew" off the ground!...one of the best meals I ever had.It's all perception.
