Just loved when Doogie's back was up against the wall about his criminal record ! That gave us great satisfaction.

And just what does that have to do with the current state of the airline, ie. contract negotiations, operational performance, and financial performance? Y'all make me laugh because instead of asking important questions about the direction of the airline, you have to beat a dead horse that has nothing to do with the meeting at hand. What a classless display of immaturity.

Sorta like Putin laughing in Clinton's face after Monica.

Why ask a question to mngmnt about their plans? Obviously they are after the pocket lint that is left. 🙄

i cannot agree with you more. so he got a dui . we all know it . drop it. it's over and done with. lets start talking about how to make this airline a better place to work .

How did things go for the UAL pilots in the couple of years following the stunt where they nailed the cord on the miicrophone to the floor so it was too short for Wolf to stand all the way up?

Mngmnt isn't going to do didly to work with you on making a great company. They are gonna pay what they have to, until they get push back.

Standing up for mngmnt? They can handle themselves and the union at the same time just fine.

It all sounds like a minor violation of the law to some but it is symptomatic of several negative character flaws: recklessness, lack of good judgment, arrogance, among others. Inconsiderate? Selfish, perhaps?

Old Dougie has had multiple DUIs. This is a bit more than a small thing. Shows, at a minimum, repeated judgement errors. Are company errors being made due to his boozing? Valid question...

There is nothing in this thread that says a thing, except the intellegence level of many.

So disappointing.

MOVE ON!!!

 move on after I get back all they took away
and put in the top brace pockets

I believe what the original thread was getting at was the fleet service in their meeting addressed the infamous 'PHL 22" who were terminated from the incident at the airport Mariott and when they addressed about them being returned to work, Doug mentioned the 'code of ethics' rules the company has and that it was out of his hands. At that point they addressed his 'code of ethics' with regards to the DUI, if im not mistaken. I got that info second hand.

Discussing ethics under that situation sounds appropriate to me. If Doug wants to use ethics as an argument, it is a double edged sword.

I just don't understand how it made for a productive meeting bringing THAT up. Are there NOT more pressing issues to get answers to? It's as bad as the flight attendants bitching about the wine being served in f/c at one of the meetings. I sat in for some of the meeting and listened to some of the questions. As a f/a I kept my mouth shut due to it being their meeting. I kept saying to myself, "Are you freaking kidding me"? Not to mention al the people with their cell phones going off and talking right in the middle of the session loudly too. Morons. Absolutely amazing.

the infamous 'PHL 22" who were terminated
being returned to work,
'code of ethics'

What part of this don't we understand ?
