PHL LECP double dipping just like predecessor?

I didn’t say he isn’t doing the trips...I was told he is NOT getting 105 pay from the office.

Ok say what JM is doing is true.....you dont have a problem with it? I say he should get an e-line out and explain why he took 4 day trips. See what he has to say then go from there.

Okay, so if JM is in the office full time working 5 days a week...right? then how or why is he working a 4 day trip?
Wouldn't the 24/6 rule be enforced? A line f/a wouldn't be permitted to do this so why would an elective AFA officer be able to?
Come on guys lets stand up for a change and say NO MORE. There are way too many reserves not flying
and coming up short month after month.
Any thoughts andy?

To clarify...
I heard John was flying trips.

Personally, I could care less. I believe it is good for the LEC officers to be out on the line so they can see first hand what is going on. If in fact, they are flying for that purpose. If it’s to take in the monthly Beer and Brat fest somewhere in Europe then that is just wrong.

Initially, I got the impression that he was not collecting his full FPL, and half of the 105 was going into the office staff. Now that I know, he is getting 108/month I am disgusted. What he is doing is not against any rules, its just wrong and not what I expect from my LECP.

Being out there to serve the membership is good, being out there, serving your own purpose is wrong. That’s my take on it.

I also feel, very strongly, that at the next meeting a motion to form an LEC Audit team be brought before the members in attendance. IF its passed, this team should conduct an extensive audit of the budget from the current and past officers and if there is any proof of "double dipping" they should be required to repay that money back to the local budget!

This base has 3,000 flight attendants...if you "heard" that I missed the last one then you were not there ether.

I'm not trying to create chaos, I just want to get a team of elected officials in the office with integrity.

Of course I think its wrong but you all need to understand that we paided a dear price for being Whistleblowers. I said no way & I did the right thing . I want no harm no foul for all of you. I paid dearly. As far as Teddy's message, I was referring to her giving praise to LGA and BOS, who both could have done the right thing, but did not.
