This whole situation frustrates me. It puts us, the f/a's of PHL, in a tough situation. I hope Andy runs for pres or vp again, as I will once again cast my vote for him in the next election. It is hard to try to figure out who can be trusted in the union after all that has happened in our local offices. I know a few reserves that are planning on running, and they would be great, but my concern is in the end, it will be a vote based on popularity.

If I were in the union office and heard all that is being said, I would either apologize to all the members or stand up for myself if the allegations were not true. Being silent shows some kind of guilt.

Agreed! Ohh yesterday I was in the office from 0830 to 2045 working the whole time. =) My point Teddy was that I DO NOT GET 5 HOURS OF FPL a day. I put in a FULL day, everyday that I am here. And if you note...he was being threatening as well. Try to put fear in teddy and the entire MEC and those teddy included in the CC and Bcc. This is just to show you all how he works.

He's a spinster and his tactics are lies and intimidation. He has not respect for the f/as, union, or company. He just wants to sponge off whomever he can manipulate. Unfortunately he won PHL by hiding behind his newsletters pretending to be a big woop with a big mouth.

Somehow, this big woop lost his voice now that he's with the union and getting company approval to violate the contract he was elected to protect. Collecting 108 hours of company fpl and to justify this the company decided to make him a "deployed f/a" at the union office because he was never "red circled" in 2005 to collect or fly 105.
This is so off the charts for impropriety and out of this universe. No wonder the company can make up any shitt they want to make us eat our own language in any arbitration.

Mike F. I can bet approached the company to give John what he demanded. Both bums!

In my eyes the longer the local stays silent on this matter only makes JM look worse. As an elected official who is being accused you certainly DO haveto explain to the members. If I were JM I'd answer the questions being asked and answer NOW. This is spreading around rather quickly. Keeping quiet to ME is like OJ speeding away in the white Bronco. If you've done nothing wrong explain. You DO have an obligation. PERIOD!!!!!

I have been informed that JM was allowed to collect 108 hours FPL, per CS, because of the size of his membership, and the fact that he is quite busy with the day to day runnings of LEC70. Apparently, management is able to able to decide this arbitrarily, regardless of what the contract states is allowed. The PHL base is large, has its share of issues, and is becoming larger with the PIT transfers. Hmmm...... fishy...

If in fact , he is so busy, how is he able to fly three (3) Transatlantic ETB trips over the month of December, especially when the staffing in PHL fell apart, and reserves were being assigned, reassigned,and rereassigned? Rest interrupted? Refusal to fly? Mayhem!


And, if the ETB is "first come- first serve," is he simply lucky enough to be clicking on these European trips, or are they being sent to him by someone? Does that indeed constitute a conflict of interest? These are questions we need to ask ourselves. This is an ethical issue, and we are, once again, being taken for a ride.
