This will be the real question. You are saying that once a work group elects a new union, the new union can go back and retroactively change what already happened in the past. I disagree.

Can this new union you are going to install tell the company it wants to revisit the termination of the DB pension too, or any of the other concessions of the past several years? After all, it was ALPA, not the new union, who signed off on it, and the new union is not bound by silly ALPA procedures and decisions with which it doesn't agree, right?

I have posted this before, but I will post it again.

Changing unions does not give a new union the right to negotiate a new CBA unless Section 6 Negotiations are scheduled.

They cannot come in and change an exsisting CBA, they inherit the current CBA from the previous union, grievance awards and arbitrations also cannot be changed.

Examples, AMFA replaces IAM at UA, NW and IBT at WN, AMFA inherits IAM and IBT CBA and by law has to enforce them and does not negotiate a new CBA until Section 6.

PFAA replaces the IBT at NW and then AFA replaces PFAA, read above, same results.

IAM replaces TWU at HP, IAM replaces IBT at HP, read above again.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

I never see pilots on your threads giving or asking for advice. I respect opinions not stalking.

By the way, I will save you the trouble of the 1992 era. If you rely on another group to further your agenda you are a fool.

Sounds to me like you are asking for help from the moderator to fill the gap in your ability to reason.
 
Sounds like you cant add to the topic at hand and have to imply insults and call people names and take topics off on a tangent, your typical MO in all your posts.

Speaking of fecal stirring sir, it is not a fact that during the 1992 self help that your union pursued, some of your members defecated in passenger bags? I am not saying that they represented the majority, but in PHL some rouge members actually perceived this as a means to obtain a fair contract.
 
Lets see the Mechanic and Related went on strike for six days in October of 1992, no mechanic, utility nor stock clerk handles luggage or did what you accuse them.

My point is sir that I have family members in the FAA, FBI and in general the human race. I did not interfere with your negotiations then and now. I appreciate your input in the pilot matters, but you seem to be interfering more than pontificating in such matters.
 
Let me say this again, this is a message board, anyone who joins US Aviation and complies to its TOS is free to comment on threads and start topics.

When a poster posts misinformation numerous times and keeps posting it when he/she is shown to be wrong, I will comment anytime I like and present the facts and the correct information.

Who cares about you have family in the FAA and FBI, if you are going to make an accusation from a strike that occurred 15 years ago, back it up with facts.

No one was arrested for sabotaging anything, and when we were on strike, we did not have access to the SIDA areas, so if no mechanic and related were at work, how did these events occur?

And you stick your nose in everywhere and not even a mainline pilot, so take your own advice.

Now get back on topic all ready.

The poster put up wrong information, I provided the correct information and cases to back it up.
