Everything is sooo bad right now. Morale is off the scale, schedules are sooo pathetic, i really believe that they are trying to make working conditions so poor that we quit. #*$&%&# @#*# #&&#& @@)*%&# *%&^$*...

It's all about the law of supply and demand....

As long as people continue to take these low paying go-nowhere jobs (that were once mainline and still should be) then the company will continue to beat them down.....

When the company either can't fill these jobs or must pay higher wages and benefits resulting in higher and higher costs, then it no longer makes sense to outsource the work and the jobs will revert back to mainline as they should be anyway....This is what happened in PHL.......

You may want to watch what you wish for.........The result may not be what you are expecting.......

IMHO it would be better for everyone in the long term!

I am tired of hearing about MAINLINE. We voted "NO" for the 900's because pay was not enough. We didn't do it because they should be at mainline. RJ's exist at PSA and other regionals because you didn't want to fly them. Maybe PSA wouldn't have existed if that happened but it did. Maybe if we went out of business if would have been a good thing. Most people at PSA couldn't care less about a flow thru to mainline. Who would want to work there anyway? 20 year upgrade....oops sorry 20 years to get off reserve.
Now you are getting the E190's and i am sure you are happy. Happy that you don't have to fly them that is. We have the J4J here but you think they are going to leave us and go to mainline to fly the 190? no way. They are here to stay or at least till they get that job at Southwest. PSA sucks because we are treated like dirt, hotels suck ass, schedules are the worst i have ever seen, per diem is the lowest in the industry, and we are on never ever ending reserve. The company is screwing us with having Piedmont pilots here as Captains and giving them F/O lines. Not only does it slow down our upgrade time but it keeps us on reserve longer. Try talking to Debbie at 5 am....uugggghhhhh What other company gives you 3 days notice of your next months schedule. Noone. This place blows and every F/O is looking for a way out. Bottom line is you get what you pay for.
 
Some of what you say is true. I would add that the mainline gave away scope partially because they had a gun to their head in bankruptcy.

Many of us would much rather be mainline employees. Please don't say none of us wants a flowthrough because many of us do. It isn't always about the pay, QOL is also important and QOL would be better at mainline than it is at PSA.

Then I say go find another Flying job! PSA was never ment to be a Career Airline. In the old days it is where one paid their "dues" before they got hired by mainline. Back before RJ's. RJ's = Outsourcing!
