I think they're making a mistake not including internet access. Both IFE and internet are tied for importance. Most people love thier email, IMing and blogging. They're all great time killers.

I voted for power. Since I've got a 17" laptop it's the best choice for me. For the public as a whole, however, IFE would probably be better suited.

Look at VX if you want to see IFE done right. they have IFE, soon to come is internet and they have power via a regular power outlet and USB outlet. See, I just figure that Tempe will somhow screw this up and I think Power to mobile devices should come first then internet and IFE second. Most business people prefer to use the time on a flight to catch up on work while being free from distractions, then those of us that plan ahead and bring a DVD or load up their ipod would also benefit.... The people that cannot afford either are the kettles and they don't spend much on air travel anyway.... Oh I forgot US is not after the business travel market anymore.

Either one is fine if it's free, though that isn't going to happen. Since they won't be able to get credit card services working properly, it's going to have a coin slot for you to keep feeding quarters like a peep show.

My vote is for power outlets first. Internet would be my second choice. I couldn't care less about IFE. My inflight time is to either work or catch up on reading.

I suspect inflight internet would be excruciatingly slow....not to mention expensive.

because this is usairways and we have to do it the cheapest way possible and then the competion can clobber us.
