Buddy of mine went to the union meeting today and it was hinted that a few class 2 stations were going to be closed in the near future.....in addition to RNO....he said the union would'nt say which stations but we belive it will include SNA, BDL, HOU and possibly Nashville. Those affected will be absorbed by DFW cause we supposed to be getting all sorts of mod and contract work soon....When our president was asked about RDU he stated that it was not one of the stations being considered, right now. Like I said, I got this second hand (I had kid duty today so I could'nt go) so we will have to wait and see.......

Exactly who will be absorbed into DFW? I know it won't be anyone for SNA. That's because they have a one station agreement with LAX and would be absorbed into the headcount there.
Well I'm not sure about exactly who will go where....I imagine if SNA has a one station agreement they would go to LAX....Like I said...I got this second hand and I never put alot of faith in anything our union tells us....we seem to get more info on AA from FOX4 news and the Star Telegram....One thing we are sure of here at DFW is that there will be another layoff soon and it will affect some class2 and class1 stations in one way or another.
