Still Think this is The Land of Liberty?

FDR was in office at the time of the internment of Japanese Americans. One could also argue their foreign policy led to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Bother Way who was it that ordered the dropping of two A-Bombs? Wasn't it some evil war mongering Republican? NO WAIT, I'm so sorry it was Democrat Harry Truman and didn't he involve us in Korea as well? Woodrow Wilson in WWI, FDR in WWII, JFK/LBJ in Vietnam? Anyone seeing a pattern here?
I beleive this issue has been address several times here.  The definitions of Rep and Dem has changed over the decades.  What was a Dem/Rep in the 1940', 50s, 60's is not the same today.

YES!
They are both two wings on the same bird of prey.

Do you always have to lay on the melodrama so thick?  Both parties do have similarities but they also differ wuite a bit on numerous issues.  Regardless, the Dems of pre-1970 are not the same as the Dems of today.  Whether you are talking about the party or the people in general.

Not a dimes worth of difference between the two. Until you have a reduction in debt and deficits, a sound monetary system you have no substantial differences. The pot of loot confiscated from the working man and women is pretty much divvied up equally and to the politician that's ALL that really matters.

This is why Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, The Tea Party candidates elected, the Liberty Movement and people like Justin Amash along with OWS scare the feces out of the Republicrats. The time they are a-changin' as Liberty Rises
