Looks like some more cuts for STL. Jan sked shows STL-AUS loses one STL-SATloses one STL-DSM loses one STL-ATL loses one STL-PHL loses one STL-MKE loses one STL-MSP loses 2 STL STL-DAY loses one STL-MSY loses one STL-CLT loses one.Looks like 40 RP flights 30 AX flightstotal Jan.

With the exception of STL-AUS and STL-SAT, all of the destinations listed are American Connection. These may be replaced by mainline flying or American Eagle.

HOWEVER, March schedule for mainline jets has 3 flights/destinations returning...
who knows....with oil below 120 and dropping into the teens, some markets unprofitable at 130.00, may be re-evaluated at 115.00.

STL-SPI switches to SPI-ORD Nov.MQ replaces AX.Alot of this you will see as Eagle takes 2 planes a month from AX.

The reason you will see AE taking back a/c from AX airlines is because AE can not furlough pilots as long as they have a/c leased out to other airlines. Those pilots were some smart contract negotiators. But, don't assume that furloughs will start as soon as all the a/c are back in the fold. They will have to do something with them; so, expect AE flying to increase--at least a little. That will reduce or eliminate their need to furlough.
