Take this for verbatim. On the announcement to clear the cabin I now end it with "We hope you enjoyed your flight with us to day on Usairways, the Worlds Largest Low COST airline". Also end the arrival announcement the same way. "We thank you for flying Usairways, The worlds largest low cost airline". It just goes over very well but hey, it IS what they say we are right? Might as well say it. After working BOS-LAS with nothing but pretzels or just the snack backet in f/c.....Yeah it's low cost alright. 🙄 Write me up for that.

I read comments like yours and think of people like you who ignore warnings, low oil pressure lights, grinding noises and other symptoms of imminent failure. When inevitable failure occurs (Iraq or a car) you, like the moronic right wing, cannot figure out why their "will" cannot propel something forward, blaming the symptoms for trying to get your attention instead of blaming yourself for not taking basic steps to verify, then resolve the symptoms.

The symptoms are not the problem, as you imply. They are simply warnings that a problem is about to manifest itself, a problem you cannot understand because you consistently and finally blame the messengers. Thinking good thoughts in the face of and without addressing symptoms of fundamental problems is a certain path to destruction and brings to mind Nero while Rome burns or Baghdad Bob. The world needs less cheerleaders and more people willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

Do you think we could have something as simple as that. I would LOVE to know the name. Our management has done this to ALL OF US. We can't go against each other as east/west employees. The write up bs won't fly. Release the names...... 😉

Hold on Rambos!! The f/a wrote to Ask Inflight on theHub. Since we on the East have no accessibilty to the report, we can only make assumptions. Did the f/a name names? flight numbers? dates? IMO, this person shouldn't had mention any specifics...just what he/she didn't like...PERIOD!! ON THE OTHERHAND, Ask Inflight should had simply stated policy, answered the question and that's IT. They are NOT supervisors and should be the eyes and ears, but not the authority. If ANYONE is the snitch, it is the person that took the specific info (still stupid move on behalf of the f/a) and forward it to the supervisor/base manager.

I have noticed a less than cooperative spirit with Ask Inflight in the last few months. I'm not sure the said f/a was actually trying to get the f/a's in trouble because had that person made that their priority, they would had written or called PHX Inflight. The numbers are listed.

Again, I haven't read anything as we easties can't get into the sight, but when I read it was written to Ask Inflight, I just wonder if the said f/a was more stupid than mean spirited.

And, why would the West MEC president make this a huge issue...which apparently it has become?

IF the f/a intentionally wrote up instead of simply asking a question and offering specifics...which Ask Inflight DOES request...than shame on him. If not, let this be a warning. If you have a concern on the east side and use Ask Inflight, do NOT be specifics.
