oh ok. An east f/a here and was curious about it. I don't think I know a Kirk but what an #### for doing that. I think I can count on one hand how many times I have heard someone read from the book here. Like we don't have more things to be concerned about. Good grief. Please don't tell me they followed through on the write up? I'd LOVE to be called into my supervisors office over something as trivial as that. My response would be, "Hold the rest of management accountable for the disaster we call a company and I'll read from my lil' pink book". mmmmmkayyyyyy. 🙄 FYI we are NOT a writeup bunch here at all. The urban legend of stories here is the one f/a years ago who turned a f/a in for taking water off the plane. She received water bottle caps by the dozens in her mailbox for ages. Ya juuuuuuust don't write peope up unless your seriously jeapordizing passengers and my safety. WOW ! !

I should have prefaced this topic with saying that I have met many east FA's and have found them to be a wonderful bunch. This was directed more at those that would write up another FA for a non-safety related issue. If it's life or death...yeah, write them up....but for an announcement? No

Oh...now that is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG...I don't care what side you are on....why would someone do that ? Can you give us more info as we here on the East don't have access to the site. Was it during boarding/safety/inflight ? I'm sorry this happened.
I haven't done an announcement (other than the safety demo) verbatim since initial training. Everyone adjusts their announcements to the situation at hand, that's why we were hired---for our fabulous ability to adjust and take care of different situations...I'm sure it's the same on the West side too. May I join you in saying that Kirk---whoever he may be ---is a jerk.

Morale here (at least where I am) is lower than I've ever seen it & it continues to get even worse.

Why couldnt it be that he is telling the truth? Ive not seen any posts about how happpy any employee is. Obviously, Tempe hears it because they are sending in the troops to PHL. Please do not pick on coach, you could not be more wrong about a poster. If anything he's someone to lean on when you need a friend and positive contributor to this forum. Mama
