Ual And Amfa

Having a TA and having a 'ratified agreement' is two different animals.

The AMFA NC met their legal obligation to negotiate in good faith and bring 'something' back to the 'membership' for a vote.

If the AMFA 'membership' votes in this POS, then you can start your finger pointing.

Hopefully the membership will realize that concessions will only benefit the company, not the workers. Finger pointing is useless and senseless after the fact.

Did AMFA tout "NO CONCESSIONS"? Sure they did, but that was before they really knew what negotiations and BK judges can do as a team effort. And the floor or membership vote in question would be the same if the IBT,TWU,IAM, or AMFA repped them. UAL's members are unique to UAL in that they have to vote their minds, their outcome, however, will send the companies and the BK a message, I hope it's the right one for them. I hope they do their homework and good luck to them in their quest.
