Any member in good standing should be able to get the findings letter. I just read it and am very disappointed. If you go towards the bottom Jeff recalls an incident where Lisa dumps Dorene's desk top into the trash?????? Ummmm Excuse me?

I have read the letter! Are you saying there were not found guilty? Half information...hell if only half of it were true they should be shown the door. Seems AFA 66 took after Imelda. I only hope she got some shoes out of it.

Beachboy, I apologize for not being clear, I aimed the last question at the people who are touting the recall petition. As for professionalism, I guess that's in the eye of the beholder.

You must work in that office if you are defending them this much? They are a bunch of liars and crooks. Honestly what have they done since they have been in office? As far as I'm concerned we have taken a huge step back with this mess! The people they employ are just as bad. Voice Committee chair who wrote up another flight attendant? For something that is so ridiculous. Nice job guys! People will be knocking down there door now to participate and volunteer. We ARE SCREWED! They were found guilty of stealing and lying, I don't want a bunch of liars or thieves representing me!!

I defend them because my life as a reserve has improved since they have been in office. And because I actually sought out facts. And that is what I suggested, find out facts, not hearsay. I know, its just so much easier to judge. Oh and yes, I do occasionally volunteer to work the phones and it does give me a perspective as to what actually happens on a day to day basis, can you say the same? Or are you now going to attack me for actually getting involved, albeit in such a small way, with the union that represents me?

Simmer down Mary, Simmer! Could you please explain to us how your life has improved as a reserve? Do you feel that we will be able to get a joint contract with these 2 running the show? What happen to their campaign promises? Puhleeeez. How about you provide some facts. There is nothing substantial in your statement.

They have been in office a year. Merger has gotten nowhere for, what, 4 years now? Yes, i do feel that. And I also know that negotiations take a ridiculously long time, especially with a company so uncooperative that Section 6 negotiations are revived. I am not going to be pompous and say only they can do it, but at the moment, they are who we have, and even international encourages everyone to get past personal issues. I can't say that they are perfect, but at least they are there, working. (Unlike a certain VP) when I had an issue with scheduling, my reserve rep was there to look into it quickly. Once, when I took a rep with me to a CB, he did a fantastic job of keeping me from getting snowballed by the sups. These are the things that inspired me to give back a little of my time. The improved autoing ability of reserves was a result of this administration. Oh, and as unfortunate as furloughs are, the fact that there are 12 months of flight benefits, not 3 or 6, is something that Lisa and Jeff(those evil crooks) fought very hard for. Just a couple of examples. To say that they have done nothing since being in office is, in my opinion, the unsubstantiated thing to say. "Simmer down Mary?" I may spacing out on a pop culture reference, is that a quote?

Interesting that it did not take long for this group to turn to the dark side. While it seems that they did some good (based on previous posts) it is amazing to me that anybody would still want them representing them. Seriously, if they are this out of control this early in the game imagine what or who they might throw under the bus after a few more years in power.

Regardless of whether you feel they "helped you out" or that you know them personally doesn't mean they should stay in office. Look, they were found GUILTY. That is FACT. Why on earth would you want someone in office who is capable of such disgusting behavior representing you? I don't care if you sipped tea at high noon a thief is a thief. It's outrageous that there are people on here who can find it in their heart to actually DEFEND these unprofessional fools. This is a WEST issue to get them out and have them replaced. The outcome will affect us ALL in the end. I am so dissapointed in our AFA international that I can't even put it into words on here without some time off. Like I said in an earlier post, "It's no wonder the company doesn't take us seriously or as a threat". They look at US AFA as a bunch of sniveling, crying babies who have absolutely NO direction. Great job AFA..........great Job. Oh and as for Pat friend, can you say USELESS? 🙄

I have read the findings and I am concerned for the West Flight Attendants. The actions, rationale and lack of remorse presented by the West MEC is jaw-dropping twisted and immature.

The present officers have appeared drunk with power even before officially taking office and now the AFA has sanctioned the anarchy that exists here.

I agree with HP Jack, I am distressed that I am forced to continue to pay an organization that states that the PHX MEC is dysfunctional and then gives them back to me. I want my dues to pay for objective, intelligent representation not family therapy

I can't even imagine how uncomfortable continuing negotiations will be. Everybody will hide their good pens I guess.

Sad situation.
