Looks like we've found yet another shyster lawyer/pilot looking to cash in on an unsuspecting group of pilots. We know the type well; we have our own ALPA-Shill Extrordinaire Captain Donn Butkovic, Esq. heading up our reconstituted negotiating committee. At least this time the target is the west pilots.

And jtwhat, safety overides Captain's Authority. I would find it unsafe to fly with a Captain who is JUNIOR and will always be JUNIOR to me. It will be hard for you to command, " gear up" if there is no "Career F/O in the seat. No thanks, I'll just go on home. And as far as flying, I would guess most F/Os around here are like me and could care less if we fly again. If I did decide to stay and watch you flail around for four days, feel free to fly every leg and get your own gear and flaps. I hope you don't make any mistakes that get you violated. I'll just go to the sim every 90 days and do touch-and-gos. Actually, this sounds kind of fun.

I would bet every East pilot could quote the FOM backwards and forwards, due to the fact, that we have been operating under it and tested on it for over 21 years, minimum. Good luck with your pipe dreams of a windfall.

Safety is great because we have a no fly list and I know I can type 3000 plus easties numbers in it. So before Awa got the both of you your jobs back what were you doing freeloading for the Jet for Jobs?

So, ALPA abritarily forgave all bad debts and reinstated those they expeled from the union. Is this to increase the numbers eligible to vote? They did not, of course, do this for the US Airways pilots. God, I hate ALPA. Terrible place to work, and a terrible union to boot.

I don't think union standing matters in his vote. I believe I heard from some folks that it appears that ALPA had reinstated them, as well. I think that may be a technique to get folks to vote for ALPA. Someone I know said it appeared that ALPA had even forgiven them their overdue dues and assessments. If true, and USAPA doesn't prevail, expect MAJOR lawsuits. Even if they don't prevail they should be sued for not maintaning "laboratory" conditions, or whatever it's called.

So just out of curiosity - my husband got his ALPA invoice today for our (joint) supplemental life insurance...... USAPA - what are you offering in this insurance plan? Are we going to be protected immediately if you take over?

Yes. Go to the USAPA website. All the insurance products have been replaced. I am told some will provide more or better coverages for the same or lessor price. Seamless transfer window after the election is confirmed.

Yes, yes..sigh..you also assumed me to be a "Career FO" I've one question for you on that though: Why do you have such an obvious contempt for people flying as first officers in any case? I routinely see people in "my" right seat that I'm embarrased to be any "Captain" over, by reasons of their experience and abilities. I'd suggest that YOU brush up on some "little details" about this profession..say..like CRM for starters. Nowhere in any manual I've ever read does it state that having an arrogant, clueless twit in the left seat enhances either safety or operational efficiency, nor inspires crew communication to new heights.

What an amazing revelation! One might almost assume from your posting that USAPA's not yet the established Union, nor will be untill after the election's finished. Thanks for clearing that up.

Speaking of "corrupt": Is it true that ALpa "forgave" AWA pilots' debts to the association?...and granted universal "Good Standing"? That seems a bit much even for Alpo..but I do wonder.
