Some of them, that's for sure. Along with the ones named in the lawsuit. I know there are some sharp guys out there, but anger makes people do stupid things.

I wish I could share that happy assumption sir....but....How does one actually explain the entire west positon/behavior?...without the attendant, and admittedly uncharitable thought, that these may indeed represent the actual core cadre of the intellectual elite out there?

True, but it's only fair to post about the posters. I mean, who really knows what's going on out there? One day, when all is said and done, they'll realize how misguided they were. I have faith that this too shall pass...

Agreed...I omitted some "cute" emoticons that would have shown some comical intent in my last post. I've had the pleasure of speaking with a few west folks who seemed very decent, and certainly sharp guys by all standards. It is my earnest hope that we'll all get through these ridiculous circumstances in due time. It's a shame that we ever had such Alpa-birthed insanity to deal with...but..such is lfie/etc. We'll all live.

None of you seem to be able to linguistically defeat what you know it true - the Nic is still there in spite of all of your foot stomping, chest thumping, and foaming at the keyboard (not in force yet, but sitting on Parker'd desk, none-the-less). Nothing you do will make it go away.
So, instead what do you do? Berate, belittle, and denounce the west. I suppose what you are doing does provide some relief from the stress and pressure you feel with the Nic hanging over your head and LOA 93 hollowing out your wallets. Man it must be tough on all of you's guyz. And of course none of your problems have ever been any of your fault.
Meanwhile, us westyz have provided solutions - solutions which would make life better for all of you. We want to help, but you refuse to reach out. It seems that you thrive upon self abuse - if there's not a major conflict going on in your career, you just don't feel right. Seems like a pretty sick pattern to get yourselves in to, doesn't it?
But you know what? When the courts finally put an end to all of your sophmoric behavior and force what is right and just upon you, we will be here with open arms. We will be happy to show you the way. That is the way we westyz are.

Your first sentence in this posting proves how selective amnesia has clouded your remembrance of the past. I guess you simply cannot remember all of the west attempts to get the east to the negotiating table. There was, at one time, a superb opportunity to materially improve the lives of all, but all we received from y'all was silence. So sad..... And now, the best fusapa can come up with is a "cost neutral contract" in a weak attempt to bribe DP into forgetting the Nic. Again, so sad.......

I will agree this much, it is a part of history, mr. staple. Yes, it is part of our history just as ALPA was our past bargaining agent. But that is as far as it goes. There will be no stapler, mr. staple. Sorry to disappoint you. Your union's C&BLs require a DOH seniority list, it matters not whether you agree with it - that's the law of the land, so to speak. Perhaps you should consider changing your avatar???
I don't see many east pilots belittling anyone, on the contrary.....reference leonidas post. I continue to behave like a professional, no one is taking me to court for mailing them poop or abusing the safety hotline, etc.
As for things being tough (stressful), I don't feel it, nor do I see it in the pilots around me. I am sleeping well, I am happy and content, I look forward to working together on achieving a better contract. How about you?
