The arbitrator ignored all of it, even choosing to use an incorrect seniority list for the East guys which was submitted by the West side. Looks pretty slanted to me, and I'm a bystander.


I know that you are gleeful at the prospect of west pilots being furloughed, which belies your lack of maturity, but I will not be exiting quite yet. At the moment I am still in the left seat, a place I am not sad to say I think you will never see.

You have been unable to refute the fact that you have lied and instead cryptically claim you are "unique" while screaming that your "situation", whatever that is supposed to mean, is none of my business.

Instead I am simply pointing out your track record as a liar.

And for you, cleardirect, USAPA has made it quite clear: they will go for DOH or as close as the company allows them to get to DOH. After all, it is negotiable, at least according to your AWAPPA attorney.

Well, well, well I guess that these discussions are having an effect. USAPA has in their C&BL DOH. No compromise no “as close as the company allowsâ€￾. Finally someone is beginning to understand what negotiations involve. Two parties working towards a solution. USAPA can not dictate a seniority list to the company. For the record it was Lee Seham that said the seniority list section 22 was negotiable. Watch the video from PHX where the dictator Bradford said that seniority is negotiable just like a crew meal.


I hope USAPA doesn't divulge its position and it's negotiating strategy. But what do you care? You won't even get to vote.
Divulge it's position. What is there to divulge? C&BL state DOH. The USAPA members want it and demand it. The west knows you are going to do everything you can to get it. The company knows it is the top priority of wants and will make you pay for if they even talk about it. So who are they trying to keep it from?

Correct I will no vote. But it will still effect my career. Care to guess at a little secret. USAPA made the statement from the beginning. They have the tyranny of the majority to intact any contract they what. Even if every west pilot joined and voted no to a DOH contract. What do you think the outcome would be? So my joining or not joining has no effect what so ever on the result.


Contracts negotiated in haste are repented in leisure.

And lastly, cleardirect, USAPA's got at least another 20 months to negotiate before ALPA has a chance to remove them. I can wait. And after what we've been through the past six years, I think most of us back east can wait for the right time, the right deal.

Just who is the east going to blame for the delay and ineffective ability to deliver on any promises? The company? They are doing what they do. The west? We are no members and have no vote or say. Could it be the merry band of clueless self appointed leaders. No they would never take responsibility for something. Must be someone else. Maybe it’s still ALPA’s fault. I would guess that we will hear them blamed for something before to long.

Indeed, LOS, length of service, a down counter from DOH, date of hire, all positions with "conditions and restrictions" that guarantee that no one is downgraded from what they have.

Based on SEC filings, the east should have stapled the HP pilots but they relented with DOH, countered with LOS, both with conditions and restrictions.

At this point, let the west pilots endure the furloughs they brought onto themselves, with mostly leisure travel yielding basically nothing, that should result in about a 90% furlough out west, then offer a merge, a practice merging with UAL.

Clear... would you kindly post the exact quote where USAPA said they could obtain a "quick contract"... I've never seen USAPA say that!... Are you making this stuff up???????
