BTW, state court rejected juristiction. Good luck with the Feds. Youll need it. Any idea when the last time a Federal court granted a TRO or injunction in a DFR case? Snoop, I'm not sure who you think I claim to be. You are correct, however, not furloughed from AWA. A little outfit called Metro Airlines Northeast in BTV. Was furloughed, hired at Bizex, Metro went out of business and all the guys who had been at Metro/Brockway were hired at Bizex, junior to me. Classy group, though, never complained, never cried for DOH, never were anything but happy to be working. And, yes, they were ALPA.

I have only been on this website for a few months and have only become a posting member about two weeks ago. I have only posted 5 or 6 times since then. I will say this to BOTH sides of the argument, "It is better for people to think you are an idiot than it is to open your mouth and prove them right". I am absolutely appalled at the childish nature from both side and can not believe you folks consider yourselves professional adult people. And by the way I am an east pilot. I will no longer post or look on this board, it is truly pathetic of both sides to conduct themselves with such behaviour.

However, there are some on both sides who are mature professional adults. It's not good to paint everyone the same color with that damnable worn out brush. The arguing over Nic/DOH is enough to give one a case of rouse pots and gol bloots. Not a terminal case but one that can give you a real bad meegraine. :down:

The FA's merged by DOH and even seem to get along fine. There doesn't even appear to be any outrage in the west demanding inflated and absurd "seniority" within the FA ranks...nor any west FA declarations of "All Out Warfare", or even any FA's sufficiently delusional to fantasize themselves as heroic "Spartans"..in some childishly imagined "Army" of "Leonidas" :blink: ...There are those who could well gain some perspective from the FA's I'd say....Just an observation. :lol:

Would you like to be a flight attendant? We are not flight attendants. So their situation has nothing to do with us.

The flight attendants are not at war because their integration went DOH. They are not at war because they had a set of rules that governed their integration and followed them. The pilots have a set of rules to govern our integration. However the east pilots have backed out of your agreement.

That is the difference. Accepting responsibility not the integration method.

We're all of us just people, and I can assure you that you're nothing more "special" in the grand scheme of things than the FA's are....All you can fall back on by way of any attempted dispute to that obvious truth is merely some arbitrator's temporary insanity.....

As for "Would you like to be a flight attendant?" Unlike many I've seen posting from the west; I've a high regard for the FA's, and I, frankly, couldn't begin to do their jobs. My tolerance for encounters with irritating fools isn't nearly sufficient to that tasking.

I asked for an AWE jumpseat today, the FO presented the "form". I looked at the captain, he looked at me, we both laughed. I did not sign anything.

So childish, apparently maturity was not a consideration for hiring at AWE the last few years.

They were hired off the street. When has any new hire attempted to claim DOH from a defunct carrier?

Aren't you confusing things here? The window into your mind through your posts reveal a grossly immature thought process. You seem unable to separate your emotions from reality and thereby reveal yourself as a danger to your passengers.

That's because their union had a DOH merger policy and even though in was unfair to the West F/As, they, unlike the East pilots, had the integrity to honor their contractual agreements.

They made a mistake in joining AFA, and now are living with their mistake.

If I am nothing more special than a flight attendant are you so arrogant to think that you are? Maybe you should have said we’re not instead of you’re. As for arbitrator decisions. USAPA has decided to arbitrate the firing of four west pilots. If that goes against the west pilots can they claim insane arbitrator and refuse to accept the firing?

East once again you have selectively read a statement and quoted it. The method of integration is not the reason they are not fighting. Do not try and twist it into anything else. As you love to say ENOUGH SAID!

I agree with you about the F/A’a tough job no doubt. My point was the FA integration has nothing to do with the way pilots integrate. No point comparing the two.

It's not an AWE jumpseat anymore. It's a USAirways jumpseat administered under the provisions of the USAirways FOM and the pilot's CBA.

A privilege not to be trifled with by the sophomoric actions of a few loose cannons on both sides of the issue.

Actually, I think you are technically wrong. Quibbling aside, I simply meant to differentiate west from east and probably should have said so.

and, yes. I thought that would have been obvious as the captain, indeed, has final authority for the jump-seat at most any carrier, so far.

How very impressive. Google "Arrested Development" under psychatric terms.......After that's studied on a bit, and for a hearty belly laugh..feel free to move on to "Integrity"...

It's not any requirement for me to be involved in some great love-fest with any other pilots so as to simply do the right thing and provide a ride when possible. Of course..I realize that I'm hardly the center of all creation, and don't even fantasize that I'm "worthy" of more "special" and "relative" credit for my years worked than anyone else with the same, much less with more. Quite honestly; I just don't "get" you folks and your little temper tantrums, nor find any such to be at all acceptable in the work place. Such behavior's hardly even fitting for decently raised teenagers during their worst moments. For supposedly "professional pilots" to be conducting themselves in such fashion's nothing short of both disgusting and pathetic. Some of you people are purely shameful representatives of the flying profession...period!!

I can't tell anyone out west what to do with "your" jumpseats. I can reasonably instruct all who play such sorry games as to exactly what you can do with your self righteous, and entirely ridiculous fantasies of "Integrity" and "Righteous Positon" though....
