Psst, Parker has the longest tenure as CEO of any major US airline. He has kept 2/3 of his pilots on bankruptcy wages long after leaving BK. He got government money with a "no labor cost increase" string attached! He bought USAir with no money down!

Well that last one wasn't his finest move.

jetBlue is looking across the pond, that is where the growth is especially since they are housed in New York.

Parker is in serious trouble, and believe me once the investigators start snooping around they will probably find horrific things going on about the security of employee personal information. Again, this wasn't an isolated event, remember the east got pretty much the same information on west pilots in 2005 when seniority lists were being exchanged. And that is just seniority lists! Imagine what payroll is like! Or Human Resources.
It just comes down to sloppy management and Parker, the survivor of at least 3 DUIs that we know of, seems to have 9 lives. Any average joe would have been gone a long time ago.
Well, if any of this is true, you would think American would make a run for JBlue rather than see it go away.

Luvn, his luck ran out in Dec 2009. Dec 31 to be exact. His rock bottom wages ended then, and the retro is going to be a ball buster. They have already taken out a big line of credit to pay it. His balloon payment is past due, and it is going to sting. Any CEO with brains would have negotiated a compromise earlier and at a lower rate that would have passed than letting it go to the wire like this with so much to lose.

You claim to have all of this insight into what the BOD is looking at regarding M&A transactions and where Parker is in all of this, highly confidential insider trading kind of information that could land a manager or director in jail for releasing, but you don't know the outcome of LOA93. I think I'll wait till I see a report from someone with a track record of predicting things accurately. Seriously, how long have you been claiming a split is in the immediate future? A purveyor of fantasies is all I see here.
 
I just saw one of the west crews checking in early this morning in MCO. The Captain had a yellow sticker on his personal bag saying "USAPA = SCAB".

If I see that again I'll be reporting it to the Chief Pilot as hate speech, if any of you have it on your bags I'll be kicking you not only off the Jumpseat but also off the aircraft.............................. If you know him you better warn him.

No, I really do not know the outcome of LOA 93. The only one who knows that(other than Metro and Johnny Mac) is Kasher, and apparently, he is still working on it. All I can say is I hope and believe we will have a win on it. But who really knows? The merger stuff? Hearing a lot of noise. Know as much as you do factually. You have to remember, they have to get this all squared with all the labor groups, and Congress and regulators. They just don't go out and wing this like Doug Parker does, and then watch everything fall apart. They have to talk to a lot of people and see where it sits. So there are some people who are seriously speculating about something in the air now. Parker? Can't merge anything. 2005 this thing goes back. And as much as Luvn thinks this is some stroke of genius, it is a total fiasco that Parker cannot put it together. Institutional investors just shake their heads, because you can't make money or transact this piece of crap because it is a disjointed stagnant labor cesspool. They can't mix fleets, you can't mix crews. They can't sell it with this. Why would you ever want this? They don't want it, they just cannot get around all the trouble because of what takes place on this board. You cannot put these two groups together with the seniority in dispute. The rest of the industry has consolidated, and you know they want to either break this up, or move it on out because they just don't think it will stand alone for too much longer. So no, I don't have any insider information. Just hearing some spillover from all those parties that are interested. It may all be nothing. You just might find yourself with Jetblue, and USAPA will be the one that is to thank or to blame. Your choice.

This abortion of a merger that Lakefield put together six years ago is about to tank. J. Freund warned the west that all the risk was on the west side. Team Tempe has tried to merge with DAL and UAL......both deals tanked! Lakefield has to come in to get the deal finished. The rookies out in Tempe keep coming up short. Jetblue has like 500 ex USAirways east brothers. Nice!

Should the Pilots Expect USAPA to Operate According to the USAPA Constitution and By Laws? What are the potential consequences of the Independent action taken by Cleary alone? Could the pilots be handed a large bill to pay? Does The BPR really represent the interests of the pilots when they allow rogue behavior? How do pilots participate in the direction of OUR union when we are routinely blindsided by actions we hear about after the fact? Is there anything about USAPA's success rate that should inspire any confidence among the pilots?
