US Pilots Labor Discussion

Turn a what? You mean a screw? Righty tighty left loosey as far as I know.

I meant turn in. My composition and spelling were off more than usual due to a red-eye.

I thought Johnny Mc provided you guys with a handbook on how to do that and you might share.

But since your not a east captain why do you care? Im surprised you can spell Northwestern let alone go there. If you were stupid enough to go with awa you didnt go to Northwestern. Oh thats right most of the a$$holes at awa didnt go to college they were to busy running drugs.
If you want to make that conclusion. I could say that most east pilots were busy crashing airplanes and killing passengers, shooting airplanes, taking pictures of young girls and being arrested for assault. Do you really want to play that game?

So angry man how about you stop the name calling and stick with the discussion.

WE didn't decide. We didn't VOTE!

WE didn't make the agreement. ALPA did.

I didn't and I won't vote for it.

I think I have a lot more that join with me as to how the process works than you do.

Were in separate ops now. What's changed?

Nothing.
But you did get to decide. You voted for your local reps. You allowed them to represent you. Just like your domicile reps represent you now.

Your LOCAL reprs made the agreement for you. Not ALPA national. The guys that you elected made the agreement and bound you to it. That is the way this works. No different than usapa.

Did you get to vote for the merger committee reps, did I? Did you get to help decide on the fake C&R`s that usapa is trying to sell? So if usapa wins in court and forces DOH with C&R on the west. Can the west claim like you that since I did not get to vote for the merger committee or the C&R that it does not count? That I don't have to live with those rules? That is what you are claiming here.

You see a MAJORITY of east pilots voted for your local reps. That means that a MAJORITY of east pilots agreed with what they did. What they did was bind you to arbitration.

Hey, you'd better send Doug a "Safety First" yellow lanyard. According to this article, he's on board!

Well, at least Paul, is a good writer. It's not captain Paul anymore either.

When you are hunting for your third, try that line- it complements your personality.

I think having more than one wife is illegal in all 50 states now, but thanks for the tip. I'm very happy with her and certainly don't need any more. Mrs. Brat gets a kick out of your posts. Maybe you two would like to chat?

Definitely! Give us your phone number...

Or is this just another hollow post of yours?

No, she made the offer. B) Send me a PM and I will tell you how to get in touch.

Hey, I've got an idea! You said you liked Asheville. I'm very familiar with it. Let us give you a private tour and we can get to know each other better and get over our issues. What do you say?

Sounds good, these boards get a little messy and serve no productive purpose.

They represent me, but they don't VOTE for me! They form commitees, but they don't bind me under the major agreements we have control over NOW unless and until we have a vote. ALPA allowed the MECs to negotiate side letters that bound the rank and file in the past but we changed that and oh, side letters can ALWAYS be amended INCLUDING SENIORITY!

ALPA, USAPA, Teamsters, etc. NEGOTIATE for a CBA on all of our behalf. They CANNOT bind you. THAT IS THE WAY THIS WORKS as the Ninth Circuit says:

"Although absence of a CBA might be evidence of a DFR violation, if the violation were based on deliberate delay by the union, it is not evidence of a union’s improper preference of one seniority system over another. As demonstrated by ALPA’s similar difficulties in reaching a CBA, the pilot groups, and individual pilots with their ratification/nonratification powers, are the major contributors to the absence of a CBA in these circumstances.

I am claiming here that IF & WHEN a CBA becomes availible for you & I and every other pilot on the premises WHO ARE MIGS get to vote to ratify or not ratify the CBA they negotiated. Every pilot on this property, save YOU understand that.

NO VOTE, NO COMBINED LIST. Keep living in the dream world. You guys keep suiing and keep losing.

Good luck.
