US Pilots Labor Discussion

Let's see. You get your job back with help from USAPA after openly advocating a job action, they lose theirs for merely forgetting to do distance learning.....What are the historical statistics for pilots who forget each cycle? I am sure they are not the first, and the others were never fired. They will be back for disparate treatment, with full pay. Amazing isn't it, your CEO can spend a day in jail with no repercussions, and two guys who don't complete a computer based training are fired. What a place. Going to make it even better when Kasher spanks them.
Still pretending not to understand what an illegal job action is? Still pretending the judge hasn't issued a temporary injunction against USAPA and US pilots? Still pretending the company wasn't aware of USAPA's strategy to use distance learning to bring harm to airline operations? Surely this is all an act rather than you posting in total ignorance and denial, right BS?

Both were idiots and neither will get his job back. I hear one will be manning the contract hotline at full FO pay and benefits courtesy of USAPA.

Oh, they will get it, and the LOA 93 Retro. Pretty nice deal, unlike the identity thieves, who will ultimately hang. Let's see, keep 3 thugs on full pay leave, after they stole ID s from the company, or get fired for forgetting to do computer courses, all sanctioned by a CEO jailbird. Wow, you are delusional Jetzz. Wait till that one gets aired out in front of the system.

Not even USAPA refers to it as identity theft any more. Try and keep up with your own union BS

Nic does not represent both sides equally, nor does DOH. Sounds like separate ops for many years unless DP needs it for his big picture. Clemson could be it!
A little problem with your opinion - neither Nic or DOH is a union. Nic is the award of an arbitrator who is assumed to be neutral and seeking a fair solution (east gave up their right to claim otherwise when the statute of limitations passed). DOH is what USAPA seeks to impose, a win for the East and loss for the West. USAPA has a DFR responsibility, as stated by the 9th.

Jim

Sorry, 25th floor. The one the will be jumping from when Kasher comes calling. The western unit will be in full panic!

I heard Team Tempe had a crystal palace, 50 floors.   All the better for Kasher jumping.

150 did not complete their distance learning. Only 2 were singled out. I guess all 150 were 'idiots' right moron....Lets hope the rumor of full pay at hq is correct. money well spent. take care of your own.....

Correct, but at this point I do not see one being closer than the other.

Technically you're right BS. USAPA could take the Nic, change every occurance of "ALPA" to "USAPA", change the arbitration panel names to "Mike Cleary" and the merger committee members, and call it "Mikey's Award" instead of the Nic award. Put it in section 22, get the contract ratified and voila - no Nic and no DFR (from the westies at least). So "the Nic" absolutely doesn't have to be in a ratified contract for USAPA to escape an "unquestionably ripe" DFR suit from the westies.

Less than that and USAPA risks doing the harm the west fears (you never emphasize that part - wonder why?) and will face an "unquestionably ripe" DFR suit.

Remember the warning from the 9th - represent both sides equally. Pick one side to win and the other to lose and USAPA's toast.

Jim

You make far, far more reference to the big HARM word the delicate children cherish so dearly. Unfortunately, the 9th does not seem to be to be as concerned. Remember, the majority decision is the ones that make the rules, not the dissenting opinion. And they don't seem too concerned with anybody being harmed. You imagine more than they recognize. And they make the rules, not you. Don't be so afraid, it isn't good for you.

Plaintiffs have not identified a sufficiently concrete
injury.2 Additionally, USAPA’s final proposal may yet be one
that does not work the disadvantages Plaintiffs fear,
even if
that proposal is not the Nicolau Award.3
