US Pilots Labor Discussion

Parker has our number. It doesn't matter what Silver says. We'll all be posturing and thumping our chests one way or another, then, whoops what the hell just happened here?

That seems the sad case in my estimation as well. Should any transaction with American actually take place; none can, with any true accuracy, predict how events will unfold...well, with the exception of the fact that the APA would/will be looking to forward their own best interests.

"You have a foul mouth...

Why can't you communicate without the "colorful metaphors" ?

I'm sure that if he wanted to, he could communicate without the "colorful metaphors".

"I'm sure that if he wanted to, he could communicate without the "colorful metaphors".

That's a most benevolent, even extremely charitable assumption....but one that is unfortunately, entirely unsupported by any demonstrated history.....

Foul?

Which part don't you like? The truthy part?

I call it like i see it and I communicate this way because that's the only way to communicate with you guys so you pay attention.

Look, Breeze's post lately have been pretty bad. Suggesting we write a letter and withdraw from the DJ is completely and utterly stupid. My repose was in line with his post and well deserved on his part.

And what about the colorful "metaphors" coming from the east?

I just checked my reputation level and it's closing in on 4000. I check it sporadically and it shoots 50 pluses every time I go back. So someone must really like what I'm putting up and it can't be all westies either. And, unlike some easties (MM), I don't plus my own posts.

Any benevolence was entirely unintentional. What I was trying to communicate is that some of us like our expletives consise and direct, while others have a preference for subtlety, but the message may be exactly the same. Cheers!!!

Said the east guy.

How about Paul Music's "fight to the death"?

You don't consider that "colorful"?

Their best interests via the creditor's committee if I may add.

Look east, no colorful metaphors and I agree with you. 😱

No argument there. With the American possibility in play; the only real certainty we all now have is that we qualify for the old Chinese blessing/curse: "May you live in interesting times..."

Works for me. All should note by this, that however contentious an issue is; some accord can be had through reasonable discussion. 😉

Eastus, you are living proof that there are more horses asses in the world than there are horses.

What east and breeze continually fail to address is the fact we were in reasonable discussions for a considerable period of time and at a considerable expense.

East, since breeze is too reticent to provide an answer, will you try?

Why do you think we can come to some accord now when we couldn't during negotiations and mediation? What has changed? Why would we devalue the product of an agreed to arbitration? What's in it for us since we lose something for no gain?

I'll unfortunately be forced to assume that ascending to such a height marks the apogee of your expressive eloquence....Sigh!.

"Why do you think we can come to some accord now when we couldn't during negotiations and mediation?" Honestly?...I make no such an assumption or suggestion as even existing as any viable fantasy. I think it, very sadly, just "is what it is", and only some rather large-scale changes in circumstances, by way of eventual courtrooms/merger-mania/etc will at all change any of this mess. No matter I suppose, as that's just my opinion.

Have a good day gents.

I think that his response was probably meant to be TIC. Perhaps MM!!! is the proof that you seek. BTW I have never heard it put quite that way before... Very funny!!!! I mean ROTFLMFAO funny! I can just hear my father's droll, sardonic assessment of SPB... Thanks!
