US Pilots Labor Discussion

So you are saying that if UAL merged with Republic, "Anything other than two identical entities is where relative seniority is the most fair"?
Let me rephrase. Relative seniority, or slotting based on fleet and seat which usually resembles relative seniority. I also believe that each merger turns on it's own facts. However, my original response was to make the point that DOH only works when two entities are identical, which is exactly opposite to your assertion. Nice try redirecting though. Care to respond to the point I was actually making?

as the old sayin goes... "DON'T COUNT YOUR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY ARE HATCHED"!

Good advice for those on the East as well...most of them seem to be counting a lot of chickens while waiting to see if the eggs hatch or not.

Tomorrow at 10AM, West attorneys Marty Harper, Andy Jacob, Kelly Flood and Katie Brown will be on hand to answer your questions. Much has changed since our last meet-and-greet with the attorneys last July, and much will be happening in the coming months. Location is same as before: Crowne Plaza, 4300 East Washington Blvd.

Sincerely,

Leonidas LLC"

I hear at the meeting they told you what you needed to know. Where is the new update, your spartan army is getting restless I hear.

Can you please tell everyone how much Flight Pay Loss you received as a United ALPA rep this year?

Sure, so what you are saying is that since AWA didn't have any A-330's or B-767's, they should be barred from them?

So a merger with Republic wouldn't sit well with you at UAL with 10 year pilots on furlough, the one's that don't bring anything to the merger.

No DOH does not only work when two entities are identical, PSA was not "identical" to US Air, but DOH prevailed.

You never answered my question on how you handled the Empire Merger as an ALPA rep. You called me a two watt bulb, but never answered. I do not recall hearing your outrage when all the Empire pilots were stapled to the bottom of the airline you worked for. I would appreciate an answer.

I most certainly did answer. That and other accusations you made in that post were wrong. You assume that I was an ALPA rep who had great influence on how the Empire merger was done. Wrong, wrong, wrong 2-watt. Just like when you were Nos - creating situations/positions for me that I never had.

Besides, apparently you weren't there to hear any disagreement I had with the way the Empire guys were integrated with "the airline" I "worked for." The facts are that 1 - Empire pilots were non-union, 2 - The first I heard about how they would be integrated is when Gene Sharp (VP flight ops) said "I told the Empire pilots that I could tick off 100-200 [I forget the exact number] Empire pilots or I can tick off 2000 [more or less, I forget the exact number] PI pilots so you can guess which way I'm going to integrate you."

Personally I'd rather that they had been integrated by relative position in seat/equip, but just take solace in the career long C&R's they got - DOH on the F28 systemwide and DOH for furlough - as well as the rapid growth that PI was undergoing only put the most junior Empire pilot 4 years away from being 727/737 captain (bigger airplanes than Empire ever had or had plans for) and most of the Empire f/o's bid to 727/737 f/o as quickly as possible.

He probably won't. He obviously endorses "stapling" East FO's..........

You do not have any influence here. You could of spoken up back then but you did not.

Gladly. Zero. Any other stupid questions?

(BTW, Pi Brat. This is what I meant by predictably pathetic.)

Boy it sure is fun to back for the day! You guys are a laugh a minute.

Ok. You justify that answer somehow, fine. Say hi to that ALPA loser Prater, tell him not to feel too bad Moak will not do much better.

(BTW, Pi Bat, this is what I mean by hitting a nerve)

Anger management?

Another 2-watt bulb comes on...

You do not have any influence here.

Never claimed to have any. But my opinions just as good as anyone else's and as long as I obey the board rules I'm free to post them.

You could of spoken up back then but you did not.

Assuming you're still working on the East side, how do you know what I said or didn't back then? Proof please, no made up accusations this time Nos.

A little FFocus bug told me. How do you know how many watts my bulb has?
