US Pilots Labor Discussion

I kind of like you analogy. Let me add to it. Dad has tunnel vision on the Nic, the kids are all screaming in the back that they want this, they want that, they deserve.... all while hitting Dad on the back of the head. Mom has a migraine from trying to settle everyone down. And, we are about to miss the exit.

Why don't we all settle down, stop fighting the past battles and keep our eyes on the road? Naw, it will never happen and in a few years we will try to remember what caused the wreck when we wake up in the hospital. Then we can start "IT WAS YOUR FAULT! NO, IT WAS YOURS!".
Pi, the blame is yours.

Reneging on binding arbitration was all you.

There is no doubt that USAPA will disappear with an AA merger, so why worry about that? You KNOW you have victory at hand with on the Nic, so why worry about that? But a dyfunctional bunch of pilots trying to come up with a decent transition agreement while the company is sweet talking the other side, now that worries me.

Why does USAPA have you worried uhaul?
Wow Pi, I've never heard you be so honest with the inevitability of the Nic.

Yeah, had we just accepted the results we wouldn't have been here. Had Nicolau done something else, we wouldn't be here. Had you never been born, you wouldn't be here. Will that make you feel better after the wreck? Do you ever shut up?

They're incompetent for one thing. Don't you agree?

Some have been. I'm hoping for better, but with the east factions and the east/west divide as big as ever, not counting on it. I think we are the stupidest(collectively)pilot group in the nation.

You are, without a doubt, one of the stupidest posters on this board. Your #### stirring is doing nothing to help the situation.
Quit your f'ing crying Pi.

We didn't start this crap and quit pretending we did. You guys have been collective idiots for a long time.

To lump is in with that is BS.

Any group that prefers LOA93 over a new contract is idiotic.

Like I said, you guys are doing fine being stupid on you own.

You are missing the ENTIRE POINT!
When it comes time to sit down at the table with the company and the APA (maybe), USAPA will be your bargaining agent. Plain and simple. If you are not a union member, you have NO reason to gripe.

You don't have to like USAPA to be part of the process. I don't care for USAPA, but I pay my money and I vote in every election. Correct me if I am wrong...in the last election, there were just over 1200 eligible voters based in PHX. Where is the other 1/3? Sitting on the sidelines complaining I'll bet. I have no sympathy whatsoever for those individuals.

Driver...

????

Only 1690 on the last PHX seniority list. Of that there are 80 remaining furloughed PHX pilots (that had a job with AWA when we acquired AAA) = 1610. Of that there are approximately 200 pilots that are on various kinds of LOA/MED = 1410. I believe that there were in excess of 1200 PHX voters (in good standing). The remaining pilots are either OBJECTORS, NON-MEMBERS, or Members in Bad Standing.

It hardly amounts to the "other 1/3".

You are right, USAPA is our bargaining agent. We will see if they again breech the DFR line when it comes to merger negotiations.

So why did you vote for hummel? Oh right the "stupid" thing.

I'm smart enough to know you don't try to screw someone then expect them to help you fight.

You want the West to help, first quit trying to steal their jobs.
Calling the righteous a group of thieves is counterproductive, but at least you think you know who is smart.
