I read an advertising section on the "Cabo San Lucas" ad in the October USAirways Magazine.

"USAirways offers X daily non-stops flights from X destinations" or something to that effect.
My question: Is this "X" representing 10 daily non-stop flights to Cabo San Lucas? I was looking on the webiste but only 3 non-stops pulled up. Maybe someone forget to fill in the "X" before going to print?

Is this fo real? They really put an "X" in the sentences????????????? Oh my goodniss........

yeah, I thought it was an "X" for "10" but I thought that would have been a lot of non-stops to Cabo.
Oh my hood-ness.... maybe they'll catch it next month.

You think thats bad. How I EVER forgot to point this one out. Last month in the Phoenix/Las Vegas Magazine the city of focus was Syracuse. WELL, the map of the NE had the state of NY and the surrounding states. The bulled that said Syracuse draws down to well what do ya know....Harrisburgh PA. I couldn't BELIEVE it. If anyone has a copy(because we all keep em) look it up. Talk about bozo's. And before anyone from THE WEST tries the "it's not usairways it's the magazine" Piney cleared that up days ago. It IS USAIRWAYS all over that magazine. I just read the Cabo add flying today and could have died laughing on the j/s.   MMMMMM GIIIIRRRRRRLLLLLLLL. smack OOOHHH HUUUUH UHHHHHH.

I know! I Know! It was those lazy East Employees with their sense of entitlement.

NO WAIT!!

It was the Stepford Stare and it erased the 10!!!

NO WAIT!

SHARES lost it!!

Yeah that's it SHARES Lost it, that's the ticket.

With all due respect(to SHARES), SHARES is not US Airways' only rez system. The oh so wunderbar (MUC, ZRH and FRA LODO's will translate) CO that everyone is raving about uses what was America West's rez system. There are some detials part of the SHARES enhancement that I find real hip.

Jeez, what on earth was that(what I just typed above). I was non-exclusively doing many things at once. It seems like I'm bonging' down o'er here- but I'm not.

What I was thinking I was most definitely not typing.

SHARES- not only US Airways uses this one
Everyone thinks CO is good. Thats good to think, so Shares is also used by an airline populations call good.
There are some things about US Shares that I think are real neat and cool.

Let's not blame it all one shares.

Sorry for the typo's. It was just temporary.

???????????

WTF

Pass the bong will ya

sorry King.. you are severly misinformed.

this thread is about the magazine, not the Dae-Woo version of Shares purchased by this airline. CO has the Mercedes version, and Aloha has the Ford version.

this is a bad move by Pace Communications - known for very high quality inflight publications --- I haven't seen the text yet, but if its in an ad, then it was produced by the USAirways marketing firm (unless its all in house).

someone should definitely be fired over this snafu... sorry.

(this comes from someone who helped set up an inflight magazine)

So, if there is indeed a "snafu" in the mag, is it Pace's fault?

oh, incidentally, you want to be a pilot, right? and you initiate a thread with some desperate uncertainty surrounding the visual recognition between a 757 and airbus 321??????????? WOW!!! microsoft has a decent flight simulator...fly there...

"Coach: $109

First: N/A 11:05 AM
San Diego, CA 2:10 PM
Cabo/Los Cabos, Mexico 2970
Details / Seats
2 h 5 m" Non-stop operated by Mesa Airlines (US express carrier).
Checking their upcoming schedules I found several non-stop flights to Cabo from SAN and LAS operated by Mesa Airlines (Mesa is an Express carrier for US). In my previous job, we often used the X to refer to express (X) flights. I won't bet on it, but that would be my guess. If that is the case, it's very unprofessional to use "industry jargon" in communications to the masses, unless of course you are FedEx.

The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18, but not heavily enforced.

My point exactly. How can PineyBob relate this issue to SHARES is beyond me!(unless SHARES now has a printing system for the US Magazine- which still not be a valid reason to blames SHARES, but the person inputing it! <if you didn't get that, it was meant as a joke)

As for the legacy-2-lcc comment: Bud, I was seriously confused on the a/c type, an honest mistake! A couple people also thought it to be 757. BTW, Flight Sim 2004 is what I use, FS X sucks up too much computer resources and lags unless you have a new Vista DirectX11 set up computer with fully loaded RAM and VIDEO memory. The reason I put the 757 or 321 thread on this board, is because I know I can get a solid response from many experts(such as yourself) on here, so if you weighed in on that other thread I truly appreciate it.
