Once again, the company has made a decision that is causing fragmentation in the F/A group---they must sit here and read this and laugh their butts off.
I am "jr" with only 11 years but can appreciate the MECs take on this...base specific WOULD have been a violation of seniority. period. Have you ever looked at the other side and thought that perhaps there are "jr" people who want to take the VF, don't need the insurance and are HAPPY that a lot of senior people may not take this ??? There are two sides to every coin and I don't think anyone should be upset with the MEC for upholding seniority....I am more upset that my LECP in PHL does not know that a decision for our base only is not fair or right for our group as a whole.
