Wal-Mart

Funny how you and other pro biz republicans knock the Prez for bringing in big business for policy advice and council, yet call him him a commie socialist out of the other side of your mouth.

Pick a side dude. Or is it just anti anything that he does?

I'll take the American side that governs under the Constitution.

Obama, at Wal-Mart, touts efficiency; angers labor

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- President Barack Obama is showcasing Wal-Mart, often a target of labor groups and other Democratic constituencies, to promote advances in energy efficiency in his broader campaign to confront climate change.

The White House chose Wal-Mart because the company has committed to doubling the number of solar energy projects at its stores, Sam's Clubs and distribution centers.

"What numbskull

in the White House arranged this?" former Labor Secretary Robert Reich, who served in the Bill Clinton administration, said in a posting on Facebook on Thursday.

Don't like abortions? Don't have one.

Don't like Wal-Mart? Don't shop there

Pretty simple don't you think? It's called individual Liberty and it's rising.

Obama says its a well run efficient operation......damn.

Model our future as a country with a Wal-Mart sized national wage.

OK... I'll stick with "Commie Socialist" then!

Being a cashier at Wal-Mart was never supposed to be a long term career.

I have met people that worked at a Wal-Mart distribution warehouse that made great money.

I realize Wal-Mart is indeed pulling a scam on the public however, some of the fault lies with the fact that there are people that are all too happy to work at Wal-Mart and live on welfare. Ask yourself why they stay.

IMHO,
That is ridiculous. Everyone has their 'own' capacity.

Walmart employs a lot of people that other employers won't even look at. Those who want to move up seem to have ample opportunity to do so.

The wages at the distribution centers are indeed higher, but so are the demands. The trucks have a schedule to keep, and stock is timed to be in-n-out sometimes in a matter of hours, because inventory isn't making money sitting at the warehouse.

Boss at UAir once told me about promoting from within.....he had a saying:

"He was promoted to his level of incompetence"
