What's new

Well looks like a done deal "IF"

There will without doubt be slot divestitures at DCA.

Not sure that it really matters but the gates that AA currently uses at CLT will also be surrendered. And then get into the whole question at a lot of airports to where to co-locate the combined airline. There are cities now where UA remains split operations and has no ability to resolve the separate locations. US' operation won't fix in AA's terminal at LAX alongside AA; US just agreed to be moved at LAX.

At LAX, AA will be back to the split terminal situation as it was with Reno and then TWA, with some gates in T-3 and the rest in T-4 and the four preferential use gates at TBIT. There are supposed to be airside walkways to connect T-4 and T-3 to TBIT, so it won't be as bad as when buses were used or you had to leave the sterile area and walk across the parking garage.

Speaking of blows, how's your mama?
if you are so certain this merger is going to work, can you not even spend a day touting how good it will be for you and your retirement instead of trashing yet another dissenting voice?

yes, FWAAA,
there will be a lot of cities where many of the merger synergies won't be realized because of separate operations. At LAX, it might make the difference in how easily passengers can connect or not.

Oh please WT, if you can't see what an fill blown POS Josh is by all of his flame bait posts, that too damn bad for you. Are you that much in shock that you have reverted to getting in a corner with this banking scumbag? He comes up with a US blows line like a teenager, and you back him???
Once again your long winded predictions went south, so for once and for all, piss off mighty know it all. Go get yourself a women down there, and enjoy like away from these boards...

I'm getting in the corner w/ no one.

What I am saying is that you prove what you are made in that you can't even tout the virtues of this merger on its own merit w/o having to trash someone else. You have never demonstrated you could handle a dissenting opinion on this forum - not once and not from anyone. You do, however, seem pretty adept at ripping other people apart.

If it is so good for you, then you really shouldn't worry what Josh has to say.

Deep down you know he very may well be right.

Yea, he's right, and so are you.....now click your heels 3 times and wake the hell up. Not that you had much credability before, but your ratings have now slipped into negative territory. Go back over to the DL boards now and spread your never ending cheer, oh that's right they are sick of you over there too...
Can we just get one " I WAS WRONG" out of you now?
Of coarse someone will have to dial 911 for you afterwards....
Carry on...
Cheers.

there it is boys and girls.

and, wings, I was wrong in thinking that AA would emerge as a standalone. I don't think I was alone, though.

We'll all be waiting on the edge of our seats to see if this merger does what it promises, not the least of which is to close the gap w/ competitors.

Good enough, let's call it a day and put an end to the bickering back and forth. I would like to move forward from this point, with a fresh new outlook.
