WN pilots expected to increase "ask" based on DALPA TA

DL employees make more than AA and UA employees on average and are receiving faster and larger increases than all other airline employees including WN's.

So, it must be tough to accept that DL employees are setting the standard for compensation.

btw, have we heard how much WN pilots are going to increase their ask because of DL's TA? You do realize that is the subject of this thread, don't you?

it isn't too far down the road before DL employees may well be making as much in total compensation as their peers at WN.

As I said before, it's all fine and dandy if the rate of your pay increase is better than your peers at a competitor.
But it doesn't mean diddly when even with the higher rate of pay increase your compensation still lags your peers at a competitor.
Do you not grasp that?

Pssst.  Try to stay on topic.  The topic is WN pilots contract talks, not about writing tales of imagined DL grandeur.

DL employees do have higher rates of pay and are seeing larger and faster increases.

do you even realize that this thread is about WN pilots saying they want to increase their "ask" from WN because of the Delta pilot TA which now puts DL pilots with higher salaries?

the topic is about WN pilots seeking to raise their request BECAUSE of what is in the proposed DL pilot TA.

the topic is about WN pilots and they say that the new DL TA puts DL pilots higher paid.

I'm going on what their union says and not you.
