We have a (Union) IAM trying to merge AWA/ USAWAYS. THIS! union has dealt with Piedmont/PSA/ who else? Most of us have not been involved with the history of any union(albeit! a few years.) Ron Roth was very comfortable coming home from Reno. It is probably obvious that the results of the IAM' collective finishing of the 30 day"Brief" to the Arbitor was successful. Remember; the Sept. verbal discussions to the arbitrattor result into a 30 day "Briefing," where both company/IAM consolidate information and write it into briefs that are then presented to the arbitor. So being that; after three days verbal Sept 13-15, then the written briefs are presented for 30 days, the arbitor has up to 60 day or 2 months to decide. (Bill Chandlee) advising)
After Reno/more briefs/ hope this works! the Arbitor goes into hiding and decides the CIC. (Ron says they have to go back to information of the original/first/second language contract and language.
So! we hope the IAM chose a Arbitor that is a Speed Reader! AND! knows the language of the history of the IAM/US airways. Most of these Arbitators have been around for years. Hopefully they can decipher. Because he is a contract attorney that needs money to retire on.
I still say, let the government play this out. And pray, new presidential candidates REWRITE labor laws/airline laws. And thank our lord, we still have jobs in America that haven't been taxed to H***! GO! JOHN EDWARDS!
