You, sir, are a LIAR. GFYS

Your compulsive lies make Trump look honest by comparison.

Anyway, this thread is not about me.
Look at his response. Look at the anger in it by calling him out for who he is. I'm glad that I caught this before he thought about it and edited.

Here why don't we do an update on the guy that wanted to outsource MY job.

On Feb. 15, American announced that Del Valle would retire “by June 30″ as part of the company’s reorganization. On Wednesday, Irving-based G2 Secure Staff announced that Del Valle will join the aviation services company as president on April 2.

http://aviationblog.dallasnews.com/2012/03/del-valle-to-join-aviation-ser.html/

Now let's look a G2 today. I don't see Tom's name listed? They must have gotten rid of him after he couldn't get the company OUR jobs. I did a search on his name and it turned up nothing.

This guy would have loved nothing more than to get rid of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. And he said it right to all of our President's faces.

Weez you definitely hit a nerve. Was he one of those (merger) "over my dead body" Horton cronies? What is funny if you remember Horton later took credit for the merger. Horton got 20 million what did someone at FWAA's level get? A security guard escort off the premises? Did they at least give him a box for his personal items?

It's not the first time I've gone after him about the greedy miserable group he was a part of. Normally he just doesn't respond. But that response hit a nerve so bad that obviously he wishes he could knock my head in with a baseball bat.

And Horton had ZERO responsibility for the merger. He didn't want it but was forced into it by EVERYONE. Doug Parker was just nice enough to let the guy save face because they probably are friends. But nothing more than that.

In the game of business chess Horton and team got slaughtered.

Nah I'm sure they're all on some private gold course in Irving right now laughing about how they got there's anyway and telling themselves "I'm a winner, I'm a winner, I didn't get beat"

FWAA is a critic of Parker at first I though he was a PIT based flight attendant forced to commute now I understand  his hatred for Parker. What Parker did taking  a weak AW merging it with a US that had a one foot in the grave and brilliantly playing Horton and making AA the largest one of the most profitable airlines in the the world was brilliant. Sure his critics point at his failed attempts at UA and DL but I'm sure Edison's light bulb didn't work the first try

Hey Worldport just to give you some of our history since I'm still learning yours. After we gave our concessions in 03 management at that time tried to start a program called "Pull Together, Win Together" They even touted up as an example Harley Davidson which at the time was having fantastic employee relations and were in a partnership with their workers.

It was a great idea but it only lasted about 1 year. Management wanted or expected instant results and were so unconfident of themselves that it just went back to the same old same old. From there all it did was get progressively worse. To me the absolute worst slap in the face though was when they started to force us to go and pick up our little AIP bonus checks instead of direct depositing them. One of those checks I think was $50.00 and with going to get that check they gave out a small $100,000 grand chocolate bar. It was a psychological spit in the face.

And there are tons of other stories too that are burned into my mind on how they behaved. Anyone who's not glad these people are gone have some serious short term memory problems.

Fast forward to today. I DO honestly think Parker and his team are trying to mend the wounds. But he is NOT doing enough for the Association workgroups. there negotiators COULD easily turn around Monday morning and present our negotiators a decent comprehensive proposal on all remaining articles. but they haven't. And until that happens there is ZERO chance he's going to be able to get past the animosity we're living with every day.

“We have to be out working to find ways to positively surprise our employees,” Parker said. “They still don’t trust us. It’s not their fault they don’t trust us. They don’t trust us because of what they’ve experienced. They haven’t experienced trustworthy things. Not because the people they work for are necessarily not trustworthy, simply because the people they worked for couldn’t live up to the promises they made. … They’re still gun shy from it.”

“The American team has lived in that old world of management-labor tension for so long, and changing this culture requires them to understand the industry is now a different place, and they have to get past that. We all have to get past it,” Parker said.

American made $7.6 billion in profits in 2015. Mechanics and ground workers have not received raises as they are in negotiations for a new joint contract.

To be honest with you if the posters on this site are representative of the  entire airline I'm not sure if they will ever be happy.

They're not. Most people when you're face to face with them are joking around and pretty upbeat about things that have been happening. But like I said before I can understand the anger of these guys but having to display it daily is a little ridiculous actually.

Back on topic. I'm glad that Parker and team have paid off the high interest debt and buying back shares is probably the right thing to do with the stock so low. But I think they said they were going to start paying down other debt next year?

Parker and the industry is not looking at the short term (Wall Street) shot in the arm. And even though the investors whacked him for it I think Anderson said it best when he said he didn't care what the market thought and they were setting up the airline for the long haul.

Parker is following that strategy too. Just in a reverse way. (Looks like I won't be selling my shares for my new kitchen till next year?)

Agreed, for me getting rid of Glass would be a good start. What's the sense of trying to turn relations around if you are going to keep  an  anti-labor employee adversary.
