You are nothing more than a greedy POS who doesnt care about his coworkers.

And I was a rep for years, your statement is false.

Hope you never get fired, and have to wait to get your day.

You dont pay dues to the IAM you are a TWU member.

Just to be contrarian, and , the fact that there are a number of members in this situation:

What if you are a TWU member at what will be an IAM station or visa versa, that's still ok?They never got to vote either way for that representation change.

This thread ought to be dead in less than a week.

Although there are those who had hoped that was the case, some of us with different opinions on the Association
would not and will not let that happen.  B)

No disrespect but none of you complaining on here were EVER in negotiations, JCBA negotiations or preparation, I think you misunderstood my post.
And none of us want the drivel and pablum you spew 5 times a day.

I understood your post the same way I understood a IAM leader a few years back, telling the press USairways should liquidate to make the rest of the industry stronger. That statement was retracted real fast the same way your post should have been

The Ass got in without  a vote so you would think they would get a contract as quickly as possible to take the focus off of their shady dealings

Have taken that management job yet?

Don't like it, don't read it.

You don't own the board nor do you make the rules.

Speaking for myself, and I believe others on this forum, I have been actively engaged for many years. With that being said; there are direct lines to those on the past and current Negotiating Committees. Speaking for myself... I understand and can appreciate the challenges of negotiating a fair and equitable contract. Unfortunately, the past few have been under the protection of bankruptcy. You are incorrect, however, in your assumption that unless you have served as a Negotiation Committee Representative you don't understand or see the big picture.. There are many, actively involved, who understand quite well. There are a few posters on here who understand the internal politics that govern sub par agreements. I would advise going to a neutral corner on this issue Bro! Respectfully submitted.

I have a hard time with the practice of attempting to diminish, dismiss or suppress opinions of engaged and informed members. The challenge is sorting it out based on credibility of the individual poster. Many have hidden agendas, yet, many speak the truth. The truth is; there is much that needs fixed. You cannot fix a problem until it is addressed. This holds true to future JCBA talks and internal issues. The practice of diminishing, suppressing or dismissing opinion and dialogue is a mistake and a potential loss of opportunity to fix things. The members who have years ahead of them must be open to expressing their opinions and respectfully considering those of others. Going forward... For every ones' sake; we need to collectively and constructively get things right! I respectfully yield the floor.

The volatility of this industry and oil can turn on a dime.

thats a safe assumption given this is their business.

Look, if they eff this up by playing a high risks game then i suggest we leave the association and go with either/or. Until then we have to hope that the Association leaders get off the fence and take a seat at the table.

regards,

In my opinion, it's already been eff'd up. Since Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr...you get the picture.
