I think I see what you mean, can't believe all the growth out west, 28 new guys, the stagnation is over! Good for them.

Just a pretend list or as they say "unofficial" although they are welcome to use it in PHX only.

Sure kind of funny though, why would they have east pilots on a west list, I thought they had their own merger committee and we are all separate.

Are they going to put the APA pilots on their list next, where will they put the AA furloughed guys?

Maybe a westie can explain that to all of us.

Time for the West to grieve the absence of the Nic on Wings..

Grieve, I bet Marty is trying to talk them into another lawsuit, but will need to sell some more ties.

Just curious there Luv.....have you ever examined the seniority of the top A330/B767 pilots in the right seat in PHL and CLT? Many of them are senior to Trader. Are they afraid to upgrade too?

I think not. Just comfortably enjoying the quality of life their bid position affords until they can hold something decent as a Captain.

Similarly, you and others chip on him because he had a father who happened to be a Captain at Piedmont. The East list especially at the top is filled with names of pilots who's Daddy happened to be a pilot or other employee that may or may not have helped their son or daughter get a job here. Prior to the new world order of HR/political correctness, that's the way things were done. Got them in the door, but then they had to compete on the interview/screening process like everybody else.

Your schtick is getting old, try to come up with some fresh material!

No, just traitor that's comes from some of the guys he works with.

Still having a hard time adjusting to retirement, go fly your plane or sail your boat, your a loser if you have all those toys and waste time on something that does not involve you.

Now run along try to get a grip. And remember old stuff is the best!

That begs a moment's curiosity. Since PSA was largely an ex-USN flying club, with the sad likes of my USAF self almost needing a social "waiver" for admission: Just how did YOU ever get your job there? You do seem very familiar with the notion of nepotism, "that's the way things were done"....?

No matter. I do hope life's kind to all of us post retirement and that you're doing well. Whatever else is true, well, we did share the fun of "smiling" airplanes and some great people to work with. It really doesn't ever get better than that. 😉

They were short of Italian-Americans at the time.

Also at age 28, 5000 TT, plus B727 ATP, F/E Turbojet and 1200 hours in the 727, domestic and international.

My new hire class had 2 USAF C-141, 2 USN (F-4/A-3) 1 Army (OV-1 Mohawk)' and another civilian besides myself.

You arrogantly disparage west pilots ....

I'll ask you again, DO YOU WANT TO COMPARE BODY COUNTS AND HULL LOSSES SINCE 1983? A simple yes or no will suffice. I have the figures right here. Let me know if you'd like me to post them to refresh your feeble memory.

Well, should "you'se" ever wish to rise above gleefully cackling over people's graves on the internet, and ever personally want to prove your AWA-some skills aloft to the world; my recreational flying wager's been open for over 7 years now.  No "BODY COUNTS" involved, and on a much more sanely and light-hearted basis that'd only cost you a few bucks, but admittedly, perhaps "billions in damages" to your infantile ego.

"DO YOU WANT TO"...? "...Do I feel lucky?...Well, do ya'...punk?" 😉
