I think we should all be there in court with our Liberty ties in court, just to rub it in their faces a bit more. What do you think Metro?

I think you certainly should. I've no doubt that'd make all the legal difference in the world, and "you'se" would at least have the comforts of some degree of a "group hug" in the process. Perhaps the ties would even resonate more if you "heroically" march lock-step into any courtroom shouting "This is Sparta!"....?

Grow U....hh....Sigh...Just nevermind.

"While not codified in the JCBA/MOU/GREEN BOOK, AA management and APA have agreed to a similar program through the creation of Project Wingman. Phoenix-domiciled pilots may contact the chief pilots to donate to this worthwhile program by filling out the vacation donation or assistance request forms attached to this email. The benefits of the Wingman program go well beyond possible monetary assistance. The following information is reprinted as sourced from the March 26 APA News Digest:

If you find yourself or a fellow pilot struggling with a troubled mind because of personal or family difficulty, please call " (My own editing here to delete the phone number, this being a public board). "The call is confidential, and a Project Wingman pilot trained to address mental health issues is available 24/7. The first step to treat assessment when we fly is to make sure we are taking care of ourselves and our fellow pilots. Our demanding profession is not forgiving of distractions, so please do not hesitate to use the many resources available to you through Project Wingman.
Take care of yourselves and take care of your fellow pilots.

PROJECT WINGMAN:

Sincerely,

John and Eric"

P.P.S. Last observation for the day, not "Lords and Ladies" but Ladies and Gentlemen: Internet nonsense should generally be taken as just that, most especially from those insisting on remaining nameless. To become concerend over such as being any real life "threat" is foolish. Whatever my personal disgust with AWA's supposed "soldiers" and "spartans" may be; there's no clinical basis on which to assume any of them insane. Childish? = Certainly, but hardly any threat to others. My only reservations there would be with Res Judicata, who's entirely hate-filled rantings and person were properly rejected by the FBI, but that's another story entirely that I'll leave to the FBI's experts. I've met many "westies" who I'd have no trouble placing my loved ones aboard their planes, and would/will never deny a cockpit jumpseat to any who even still post here. To make/attempt even the slightest improper comparison with the sad likes of the almost unimaginably sick creature of Germanair is entirely wrong, and all I can say there is take on some education, work with at least a few genuinely ill individuals who'd just as soon die as see another sunrise, and then get back to me on that. The back-and-forth here on the Germanair tragedy and amateur "diagnoses" from would-be "Dr Phil" types is disrespectful to ourselves as pilots, and both immature and utterly foolish.....Period!

. That is because they read USAPA and their latest filings and rulings for interrogatorys in NC and their claims challenged by about 6 million points of case law in their DFR appeal, No wonder DUI Doug is feeling IT integration issues, heck April, a busy court month between TWA, the 9th and the DJ, in NC, add about 5 years to the island and about 800 EAST pilot retirements, man thos new hires hit the jackpot! MM!

Mr. Parker is well versed in the field of seperate operations. west pilots should have paid close attention to their previous excursions into the field. The Phoenix Summit brain trust is days late and dollars short when it comes to playing this game.
IT issues will surely plague the Leonidas Plan. It will result in lockdown in PHX and massive LAA and LUS upside. east new hires are flooding into 330 pay rates at record time. Another massive east retirement slug coming.
Why Eric Ferguson and Mitchell Vasin, new hires, were allowed to steer the west ship onto the shoals is perplexing.

Ferguson or Koontz, which one is dumber, must be a tie.

Someone with a brain should take over.

After reading the last abomination the West filed in the 9th appeal, I can't believe you guys let Marty run your legal campaign. The judge asked each party to respond to TWO questions, and Marty had FIVE points he tried to make (most were legal fictions based on his infamous implicit assumptions) and he threw in another attempt to argue for "common benefit" attorney's fees.

Marty seems to epitomize the "ambulance chaser" approach, avoided by evey potential client except the most gullible.

You can say that again. 😀

The Martay, Fergay, and Koontay alliance has done more to cause delay of a resolution than anything USAPA could have dreamed up.

Which should be encouraged. Every time the Leonidas legal brain trust springs into action, it results in a longer sentence in the PHX base. Read their latest base letter. They know they are locked up for a couple more years.

Implementation Delay of Single SLI Due to IT Issues

At the last BPR meeting, we learned the company, as of now, doesnt plan to implement the single integrated seniority list until it has a single pilot database ready after the summer of 2016. Fall of 2016 is now the projected implementation date, which lags the original projections by about a year. This is alarming because predictions such as these are rarely accelerated and often extended. Needless to say, we find this wholly unacceptable and suspicious. We cannot understand how the company, at the onset of the merger, was so eager to get a single integrated seniority list and finally realize the synergies of a combined airline that it offered the union a $4 million reward to produce an integrated list before Dec. 9, 2015. This was one of the reasons PHX, with near unanimity, voted to ensure its passage and supported the MOU and the AA merger in the first place to complete the deal quickly, rather than drag it out for over a decade, like the AWAUS Airways merger that still hasnt concluded.

This decade-long delay wouldnt be such an issue if the Phoenix base had been allowed to share in the gains of these mergers, but the company seems hell-bent on keeping PHX on the island that USAPA created. Management's announced plans will prolong this unfair situation that deprives PHX pilots of opportunities found everywhere else throughout the system by turning a blind eye toward the obvious, and remaining deaf to our many complaints while continuing to reward behavior that is detrimental to the company as a whole. To our knowledge, management still has no plans to bring new pilots or equipment to PHX in the interim, so we should expect things to only get worse in PHX (and for longer) before anything improves.
