"You'se" would be well-advised to simply stick to "heroic" cries of "This is Sparta!"/"Liberty" ties and of course "Integrity Matters" T-shirts to be even kindly seen as anything even slightly less than the total jokes too many of you are.

Actually? I didn't have "to settle".  Unlike your sorry self; I had offers from several major airlines, and at first took the most immediately available seat at then still good Eastern, ...but soon afterwards Lorenzo showed up. It took me no time to "eject" and then gain another job. The truly pathetic likes of AWA wasn't even a place I ever bothered to submit a resume to, nor would have ever. What was YOUR pathetic excuse for AWA being your obviously ONLY choice?
 
No matter. You now have the chance to fully show the whole world just how much of an ace "Pilot" you truly are. Wager's always open...and kindly spare us all the "This is Sparta!" childish BS, but per chidlish BS; I suppose you could wear a "Liberty" tie at least. 😉

Hometown airline, no commute. I never had the desire to go East-US. Now that we have a DFW based airline, my family in Texas won't have go through BFE NC PA to get to San Antonio. Oct can't come soon enough to see Airways die for good. A decade too late.

No matter really. The predictable pattern from these sad twits will be for us to see posted yet more meaningless nonsense "proposals" from their own attorneys in abundance, and that will somehow grant them brief solace from reality. Perhaps additionally aided by some genius-level insertion of a single panel cartoon/image, and of course yet more infantile and wholly unsubstantiated arrogance.
 
The only thing that nowadays surprises me at all is the recent lack of such fools as cactus"boy"53 once again proclaiming (I'm not kidding folks) "This is Sparta!", accompanied by a video extract from a childish movie.

If you truly (however strangely) require such absurd, but somehow "sustaining", self-generated fantasies, then you're years past overdue for a full psychiatric evaluation. Of course; had any psych evals ever been done pre-employment at AWA, well, much of the conversation hereabouts of the last 8 years would've never been possible in the first place....
