Sorry uscaba supporter, my upgrade happened long ago, well before the merger.  The scab union was unable to knock me out of the seat for you to steal it.
 
Now some of my West co-workers were not so lucky, they had their Captain seats and jobs stolen by the scab union.  I suspect those who have not already will requal by the end of the year.
The AAA pilots brought 2/3 of the jobs to the merger, 75% of the future attrition and 100% of the premium paying jobs, yet in the middle of 2027 there are only 5 of the top 100 pilots on the merged list from the former AAA list.





That is, "our attrition"

Why would I want to?  I am a line holding Captain in the most senior LUS domicle, with the best weather and an awesome swimming pool!
 
Maybe you might bid out here when you do not hold that upgrade.  I hear that there will be lots of PHX FO vacancies coming up!!

f/o who claims he is a captain.  There is not anything wrong with being an f/o when you have a choice, but nic4him makes a claim of his present position that is not true, lack of integrity.

Premium paying jobs??...Now I am really LMAO at you clowns....you made less than a Skywest RJ capt flying Capt on the A320 and your "premium paying jobs" paid less than a West A320 Captain.
 
In 2027 there are only 5 in the top 100 because there are likely only 5 left.  By 2027 90% of the West will be retired also you stupid bozo.
 
You are really showing your true colors tonight.  You are a really junior guy, and young too if you will still be around past 2027.
 
And it is not "your attrition".  Your attrition bought you the top 517 and a slotted list instead of the staple you rightfully deserved.  But I forget I am talking to a guy who was stapled because he was a furloughee with absolutely no chance of coming back sans merger, yet he thought he could steal West jobs by voting in a scab union.

Guess he was weeded out on the psychological tests from the real airlines like Res was from the FBI and AWA was the only airline that would take him, go figure.

Who has that newspaper article interviewing the Director of Flight Ops at  America West  during their first or second year, 1983 0r '84, explaining the hiring practices and how they are able to get any pilots to fly at such a low salary?

Doug Parker: The answer to that question is Yes. And let me talk about some of the comments you made. First off, as to the stagnation of growth for America West pilots since the merger what I will tell you is, and this is a hard thing to communicate to people but I believe it with all my heart, that if we didn’t do the merger with US Airways you’d be in a lot worse position. And frankly I think as a 3-year FO, you wouldn’t have a job. We would have gone through a bankruptcy filing. We would have downsized. We had an airline at America West that had 20% lower unit revenues than US Airways and now has the same unit cost. That airline could not survive. We would try to make it better. We’d go file bankruptcy. We’d get ourselves a little stronger now the economy is back we’d be trying to come out like Delta is. But I swear to you that airline was going to file bankruptcy. When it filed bankruptcy we would have downsized at least 15% and you know while you feel bad about stagnation, you should feel better about that versus where you were headed. And that’s we were headed. So I feel very good about what we were able to do with the America West team through the merger because believe me the standalone plan was not gonna work. So again I mean that’s hard for you to appreciate because you never saw it but, you know, it was coming. So that’s point 1.

We all feel bad for this guy, he knew the answers and the little AFO group screwed the entire airline with nothing to show...........just life in the fishbowl.
