Truthfully? I liked the Hare Krishna people. They showed no interest in promoting anything other than peace, and not so much as one I ever met ever indulged in ferociously bloody "spartan"/"heroic battle"/"dire wolf"/"battle" fantasies, nor seemed at all intent in ever harming others through even the slightest evidenced notions of personal greed. On any at all reasonable scale of maturity; they "outrank" you infantile fools by whole light years of earned and achieved respect....Hmm...perhaps I should issue your whole Fantasyland "army" some flowers and Bagavad Gita volumes to read? 🙂

Harsh lesson for the day child: NOTHING ever "insulates you from reality" in this world, nor ever even can. Not smarmy lawyers, not arbitrators...NOTHING! You will find that out in time. I hope your mommy is both alive and close by when that day happens for you. "Reality" comes in many forms. It can be the dramatic fire of enemy weapons or immeasureably worse; the traumatic diagnosis of a horrible disease in a loved one. What generally has the very least to do with "reality" is infantile narcissism and pure fantasies. Enjoy "life" in Toyland while you can kid. Life is the most amazing gift possible. The only reason we are "9 yrs into our battles yet a solution was never found" is because you refuse to abide by the product of a mutually agreed upon process, AND you walked away from the contract negotiations. That's why it's called "Final & Binding Arbitration".

I fail to see how it "cost us the benefits of this merger".  Do you mean the last merger where AWA acquired usair, or do you mean the current LCC/AMR merger?  I am thinking you mean the LAST merger, and what cost us any improvements in that merger was the east pilots willingness to scab on LOA93 for 8 years.
 
I am already aware that Silver cannot impose the Nicolau list.  I do not believe anyone is asking her that question.  What Silver can do however is award the West plaintiffs a little over $4 million in legal fees, enjoin the APA to uscaba's injunction, and generally make the company think twice about culpability of being neutral.

A solution was found 10 years ago in Wye River.  The West had to make a decision.  Cave to the east for ALPA's sake, or tell them both to go EF themselves because we would get the Nic at the next merger.  The choice and solution was set.
