What was the name of your airline? I can't seem to find it.

I'm glad I don't have to look at the POS name staining the Tempe skyline anymore on the drive to the airport.

No worries on my part.  But actually the "last laugh" will be on the APA and the Labor union movement as a whole.  Next time this year Friedrichs v. CTA will have been decided and it looks like agency fee payer will probably be gone (NLRA).  Since you have access to pacer look up Serna v. TWU 15-10328 (RLA).  With that waiting in the wings it looks like employment at will is coming.  Remember, it took a corporation, AOL, to bring down USAPA (and inadvertently labor unions) all together.  As prechilliII salivates over these "new 330 Captain" positions in 18 months....there will only be two years left before our contract becomes amendable.

I know that I will have only 7 years next month to age 65 and if the "pilot shortage" continues and my health remains good I plan on coming to work well after that if the FAA extends the age (and they will).  Make no mistake....AOL won't be telling ME what to do when YOU guys want more pay.  The lesson here is seniority doesn't work anymore and you guys can picket and strike because myself and the rest of the "new hire" Captains are going to save our dues money in our retirement funds and care not what you "new union" guys do trying to get more for less.  We're still coming to work.

I support the Company 100% and I will make every day, from this point forward, to make the "new American" a success.  I was a part of USAPA and I believed that we could repair the damage labor unions self-inflicted upon themselves.  The Ninth and the Supreme Court are "remaking" labor law now and adversely affecting the stability of the pilot profession as a whole.  The "pilot shortage" isn't because of PAY, it's because of instability, seniority (or the lack thereof) provides for them going forward.

Remember, you got what you wanted....the real question now is......CAN YOU KEEP IT IN 2020?

So "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"

When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground

Do you get your kicks on Route 66 when traveling to Airline Central? 😉

From the offices of the East Pilot Seniority Protection Group
Fellow US Airways East Pilots,

We are pleased to announce the formation of the East Pilot Seniority Protection Group, LLC. Out of necessity....

HA!!!!! Oh right. I'm sure you're all very "pleased" to announce your self funded fools errand.

Get out there and tilt at those Windmills girls!!!

Pull out those checkbooks! Wilder needs a new Ferrari.

(and by "offices" i guess they mean from the guest bedroom)

Eric Ferguson makes Frank Lorenzo look like Pope Francis.  EF...the "new" new nicolau?   I think not.  That would be Parker, Kirby and Isom.  The BOA isn't going to be the ultimate "arbiter" of OUR situation.  That "test" will come in 2020+.  Oh, and I don't think people are stupid.....just AOL pilots.  In any case, your "memories" won't really start for at least 18 months and even then a lot can change...and probably will.

Labor isn't dead....just the lawyers that get "the money".

In any case, its a BEAUTIFUL DAY and thanks for the well wishes.

Meanwhile, on Route 66: 😉

AOL is NOW your PROBLEM. The corporation of AOL OWNS labor unions now. If you can't beat them....JOIN THEM! IT'S EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF. Like Sewerpipedvr (the defunct wannabe pilot ex-lawyer on this board) says: "Still all should have a good career from here on out. Enjoy life, that is the best revenge."

I'm enjoying life, watching the courts decimate the evil labor unions (whether USAPA, APA or ALPA) who are simply dying a slow, painful death.

How long will do you think you can keep us in the fishbowl?

Dan,  If the letter is true then what is the problem with posting it on C&R?.  Is it also true that out of the 22 BOD's at APA, a single negative vote could prevent this pilot returning to work from a LTD? I'm always suspicious when a letter is posted anonymously!

Done!

Hi junior,

Glad to hear you will have plenty of funding.  You will need it just to keep your head above water in the shiitstorm cesspool headed your way.

Now go out and file some lawsuits with all that funding  The APA and the company are gonna be just thrilled to have to spend for their defense of your frivolous BS.

I am having trouble figuring out just how the "east pilots seniority protection and maintaining of stolen seats and the scab lifestyle LCC"  is gonna sue anybody.  Keep asking myself, over what?

Gotta wait til the SLI BOA rules before a lawsuit becomes "ripe".  If you do not like Silver's injunction, well TFB, en banc denied, you only have the SCOTUS.  Do not like Conrad's ruling, again TFB, post your bond and appeal in the 5th circuit.

Meanwhile, AAL pilots move on with a new seniority list constructed via the Nic and the LAA list.

"The West" wasn't a party to any agreements. Best of luck to the Eastholes trying to sue a ghost.

Donate now! Start with "Unobtanium" level. Maybe hold a fundraiser at the KFC.
